Holiday Inn Norwich, an IHG Hotel

Staying here during the week for work. Great location and bonus facilities of a gym/pool/sauna. Food available for lunch/evening meals and breakfast is varied, cooked well and served quickly but you are never hurried. As a lone female traveller I feel secure here. Staff can't do enough to make sure you have a lovely stay.

Nice in general but the hotel has an old feeling. It is an old building converted into a hotel. It is ok for a stop on long drive or just relaxing for 1/2 nights.Better than Travelodge, ibis, premier in but it could have a splash of paint and a bit of more life around.Leisure facilities are small but everything worked (sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and swimming pool).I ordered a pizza and salad for room service online via the qr code in the room and it worked well. The food was nice especially the salad.

The room was spacious, nice and dark with curtains shut. Decent plugs and practicalities, bathroom was dated and basic and needed some tlc. Also we ate at the hotel the first night and the steak was requested medium rare but came out well done. My colleagues salmon was also overcooked and dry
