I’ve had a number of lessons with Darren and plan to have more. He identifies the key issues quickly, explains things very clearly and gives helpful, focused feedback on one’s efforts to improve. The brief videos he sends over after each lesson are well-curated and clearly illustrate the main aim of that lesson. Highly recommended.

I decided I wanted to have a go at golf and I’m so glad I did and found the beginner lessons at Barnham Broom with Darren. There were 3 other lovely people in the group which was brilliant. We were similar levels and really helped each other on our 4 week journey. Nothing was ever any trouble for Darren and his patience and supportiveness was fantastic. His coaching and encouragement was unwavering throughout and I can only say a great big thank you . It’s incredible how much you can learn in a short time!!! I’m looking forward to continuing the lessons and getting out on the course. If you are thinking of lessons, do it , you won’t regret it. .

Darren is a a really good coach. In particular helping me to understand and implement the fundamentals of set up, swing path and face angle has improved all aspects of my game. My scoring has improved and the confidence I have gained from now knowing I'm doing the right things has been tremendous. My game continuous to improve with his help and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone that wants to improve. Thanks Darren!

I had a 2 hour lesson followed by lunch and 18 holes. It was an incredible experience. Darren is a unrivalled golf professional and has a deep level of expertise in his field. I found the session supremely helpful, as we worked on all aspects of my game. I'd highly recommend the experience to improve your game, or it would make a great gift. I will definitely be rebooking.

Darren is an amazing coach - he's extremely quick at spotting what needs to be improved to make fast and lasting progress and has the perfect drill ready for any situation. The videos he shares after every single lesson are incredibly helpful to understand why you're making progress or what you need to improve. I came to Darren as a complete beginner and can only recommend working with him. Apart from the coaching he's also just a great and really motivating guy who you really enjoy spending time with.

He utilises the latest technology and visual props to help demonstrate the correct techniques.After each lesson where required, I will receive a short summery video detailing what we have gone through. It’s incredibly useful to reference long after each lesson.You can genuinely tell that he cares about you reaching your goals in golf.Highly recommend.
