I have 15,5 years old border collie princess after stroke. I was so stressed to take her to any groomer after she had stroke as she was always stressed with any groomer.When I rang to explain my worries and expectation I felt listened and I was offered app just for her without any other dogs just for her comfort.When we arrived to Hockliffe Happy Hounds she was welcome with extra care and she went inside on her own and that's never happened before. She came out beautiful and all happy. Thank you so much for extra care and we will be back soon.

Was looking for a local dog groomer around Dunstable and read fantastic reviews of Hockliffe happy hounds. Took my recent adopted sprocker to have the full works. The staff were absolutely fantastic with him, keeping him reassured and calm and aloud me to remain on site to help keep him calm as it was his first grooming session in some time. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to have their dog groomed.

Don’t use this dog grooming service my poor Yorkshire terrier needed a trip to the vets really bad service and very rude people.Anyone thinking of using I strongly recommend not to.

Our greyhound had another fantastic bath and nail trim with Michelle at Hockliffe Happy Hounds. She is so kind and treats the dogs as if they are her own. It's always a pleasure to go there and we would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Michelle!

Hockliffe Happy Hounds have gone above and beyond for my two girls, even from the first groom.I'm ashamed to say that with lockdown and other personal issues my two large dogs were in a right state, but HHH were able to book my girls in within the month. My dogs were so well taken care of that I don't think I would ever go anywhere else. I've never had such good service and compassion, and my dogs have been groomed (a lot) over their life time.I would highly recommend to anyone that wants your dog treated like family, and well taken care of when they need a brush and a hair cut!

Busters first groom with Hockliffe happy hound this morning. Buster will be 13 next month, senior doggy set in his ways we’d been doing a 4 hr round trip to his previous groomer who he’d been seeing for 12 years since we moved house 5 years ago. Needless to say my grumpy little man wasn’t so thrilled at getting up early in the morning and doing that long drive every month. We decided to try Hocliffe Happy Hounds and what am amazing job they did. Michelle contacted his previous groomer to find out how he was groomed and about his funny little ways to make the transition as easy as possible for both me and Buster. We had a visit previous to his groom to meet the team and I was kept updated during his first visit. It’s clear that this team love our doggies as much as we do and Buster was given lots of fuss. When I collected him he was looking very handsome with his little blue bow and smelt beautiful. One very happy pooch and owner. Thank you Hockliffe happy hounds I would happily recommend you to all of busters doggy friends ❤️

Hands down the best groomers we have ever dealt with throughout our dog's 11 years. Paige cuts him perfectly every time and is patient with him on his grumpy days. We travel nearly an hour to visit Happy Hounds, its completely worth it!
