One of the worst Arab restaurants I had ever been to , the waiter was very rude and charged as a hand writing bill with 45£ even though it should be 26.85 he did not accepted to to charge my card and said he can only take cash so I am very skeptical about where is the extra 20£ had been going, unfortunately I was in a hurry and it wasn’t until I got home when I started to calculate the price of our order, probably the waiter took the extra money for himself, it’s a shame the restaurant would allow this thing to happen.

Waited over 1hr for our food. Only half are our order arrived. They completely forgot about the rest of it. The meat was overcooked and dry. The starters were tastless. What a completely underwhelming experience. Couldnt wait to leave. Never again!

Very poor lamb Mendy, definitely from the day before, Fahsa without Helba,chicken not well cooked..Also Maraq which cost nothing,in this restaurant you pay £3 for it...Shameful for this restaurant to represent the Yemeni food..

I dined in at this restaurant with my family for dinner and the interior of the restaurant does not have a yemeni feel to it, especially the music which was the same disco tune on repeat for hours and absolutely put us off our food. When we had asked the waiter to change it, he had said that the restaurant plays yemeni music all week and due to it being a weekend, they wanted to change the songs into something different. We had ordered lamb mendi and shafout and salta and the shafout did not have the right bread in it and the salta was cold at the bottom and not fresh. It was clear the salta was heated in a microwave. When we had complained about the salta not tasting like the salta that we make at home, the waiter rudely replied ‘you’re not at home, this is a restaurant’. Additionally he did not even offer us a different dish instead of the salta and did not take it off the receipt despite the waiter sending the salta back to the kitchen. Appalling customer service and we won’t be coming back.

Mandi is not mandi and Kabsa as wellI was charged more than i was supposed to payI was asked to pay in cash so i can get discountFood quality is 3/5Service was goodPricing was awful paid for 2 plates ,2 drinks and salad 57£ which makes no sense i don’t recommend anyone to go there
