I have been on several sails with Zoe, and all have been absolutely wonderful. Sailing from Blakeney and returning at sunset- just beautiful. Watching seals sunbathing, Terns feeding their young, or simply passing beautiful sailing boats… bliss. I’m trying to learn to sail and Zoe and her Selkie have been fantastic teachers : patient, kind and keen to share the knowledge. If that’s not enough Zoe is an utterly lovely person to spend a few hours on the water with. Highly recommended.

I’ve sailed with Zoe twice this summer and have had a wonderful experience and adventure both times. Sailing early morning from Blakeney to Cley was dreamy, watching the mists disappear. And a later afternoon sail out to Blakeney point, under the sails, as the sun set was equally wonderful.Zoe is brilliant, she explains what she is doing and allows you to learn about tying knots and tells you what they are called and why they are used which we found really interesting. She really knows the area, points out sights, offers little bits of ad hoc adventure (like visiting the watch house or a swim from the boat) and understands the local wildlife and fauna, telling you as much as you are interested in hearing. Her passion for the local area and her boat is evident. I will be sailing with her again as soon as next years bookings open up

We had booked a trip for an anniversary treat and loved it so much we booked another sail the following week. Zoe is a fantastic skipper on board Selkie, and provides wonderful cakes and drinks; but what really sets Zoe apart is her love for her boat and the beautiful coastline of North Norfolk. Our first trip was a journey from Blakeney to Cley and Zoe explained the landscape, waters and local wildlife and plant life. She explained how the boat works and taught us some knots and got us involved in the trip. Our second trip was an evening sail out to Blakeney point and was again fantastic. I can't recommend this experience highly enough, Zoe's enthusiasm for sailing and sense of wonder at this beautiful area is infectious. Thank you for sharing Selkie with us.

This is definitely a treat excursion but worth every penny. Zoe will make your sail boat trip everything you want it to be with an adaptable approach to each trip. We wanted to see some wildlife and sail to the Cley windmill which we did. A totally brilliant experience. We had very little wind for sails but the electric engine meant a completely relaxing time on the water. Zoe is friendly and easy to talk to. She provides tea/coffee and cake although we didn’t partake of that. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather but I think it would be amazing regardless. We even had an animal rescue performed by Zoe to release a couple of wagtails stuck inside a houseboat and had a low level Hercules fly past as we arrived back at Blakeney. I really recommend sailing north Norfolk in Selkie. Such a special experience.

We had a really lovely time on Selkie. Our trip was a special little adventure with a bit of hands on oar action in the marshes. We headed to Blakeney Point to explore some of the lesser sailed and trodden paths. Breakfast was fantastic and our little one can’t stop talking about her adventure with her favourite boat friend Zoe! Thank you so much! Can’t wait to come back.

We went on a sailing trip with Zoe on her boat Selkie as part of our mini moon on the Norfolk coast. We went from Blakeney to Cley Windmill, stopping off for bubbles and food. We were so lucky with the weather and Zoe was happy to let me try a bit of sailing (I am a complete novice). Thank you Zoe for such a great memory!

We recently enjoyed an afternoon sail with Zoe on her beautiful boat Selkie. It was the highlight of our holiday. We left Blakeney harbour and headed out to see the seals before heading to a creek for a swim - it was a wonderful experience. Zoe was really knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife. Returning as the sun began to set was really magical. I would highly recommend sailing with Zoe. Zoe we look forward to sailing again with you next Summer.

We weren’t sure our trip would go ahead when it hailed at lunchtime, but then the afternoon clouds parted to reveal the most spectacular evening sunshine, and Zoe together with Selkie treated us to the most spellbinding adventure from Blakeney along the high tide creek to Cley. Unforgettable, we will treasure this memory of stunning north Norfolk forever.

Our sail with 'Sail North Norfolk' was a retirement gift, so I cannot comment on the booking process but from emailing Zoe asking about dates she got back to me very quickly and we sorted an evening sail. We arrived early and sat the life going on on the quay at Blakeny. Zoe arrived we introduced ourselves and she explained we were waiting for the tide to come in a bit. At 8pm we set of in selki having had a safety briefing and been asked if we would like to participate in the sail or sit back and relax. The sail and use of silent electric outboard meant we had a silent trip listening to birds watching them and generally enjoying every aspect of the trip to Cley mill. Zoe kept us informed of different things to look at and watching the sun set over the salt marsh was a memorable experience. Thank you Zoe

We went on an incredible sunset sail with Zoe and it was definitely an evening to remember. Zoe was a great sailing host and very knowledgeable, not just about sailing but about the wildlife surrounding us and local history. It was a beautiful sail and very relaxing, we would highly recommend x
