New layout is confusing for all. Lots of cold pies and cakes. Food to go and random bits u might need on a journey. Coffee machine. Some alcoholic drinks. Fancy chocolate bars. Seem to be gaps in ideas like nothing much for vegans. Peculiar water filling thing where they charge u to fill a water bottle. Some low priced bits like hot pies, the rest what u would expect from a railway mini mart.

I was surprised by how large and varied the vegan food selection was so would recommend if you are vegan or dairy-free! Store is a bit narrow so can be tricky when you are carrying large suitcases

The coffee is awful: insipid coffee taste, far too much milk in a cappuccino. It was so bad I think the machine must have been broken.

Manager delivered exceptional customer service, when sold a product that was not correct and exchanged it.

They don't have butter only margarine. No good chocolate. No cream. It's nice and warm inside though, albeit that's not a defining feature of a grocery store.

The East of England Co-op is a small corner shop inside the Norwich Train Station. We've visited here a couple of times to get a few bits and pieces as we were staying in a nearby hotel and needed to have a drink. The prices here are reasonable but it is narrow. Otherwise, I'd recommend this place for sure.

Getting gluten free food at stations is normally a nightmare. Nothing available and everything mega expensive. Coop was great, good selection of snacks, lots of GF sandwiches and on meal deal offer. Efficient self serve machines, made it quick and easy to catch my train.

Was paying in the self-service area when I heard a woman shouting very aggressively at a group of people that had just walked in. She wanted them to go outside because the store was limiting the number of customers due to the COVID-19 restrictions. The customers looked bemused. Her approach was not not at all what I would expect in a retail environment. While processing my payment I encountered a problem with the Chip and pin machine. I asked a member of staff at the counter for help and then I heard the same woman shouting “step back from the machine“. I wasn’t aware that she was trying to communicate with me and she then repeated her command extremely loudly.I can honestly say I have never been treated with such contempt, and disrespect in a retail store. Her tone of voice and overall manner suggested I was about to be tasered!East of England Co-op: please train your staff properly. Don’t treat us like you resent our custom.

Was anxious about my dog tied outside & travelling late. Got I'D for alcohol. No sweat, could be an honest mistake - I'm 35 though and after trying two of my bags can't dig all the way through my rucksack (full of clothes and dog outside so apologised and just checked on the dog before trying to continue with rest of purchase). The woman just grabs the beer off me and barks something about you gotta take it off the till.. was pretty rude & having worked retail know there's better ways to handle customers in these situations. Avoid if you're a nervous traveller.

Pleasant, friendly staff. It's ok to grab a snack but really limited choice of normal groceries, so don't expect to be able to do a proper food shop" in here."
