Meal was okay, but way way overpriced! It felt like they wanted to eek every penny out of you. Choose a main, then have to pay over the odds for a side of vegetables and drink. Which are rediculas prices, really!I can see why they do the voucher for people, as they must make a killing as you end up paying so much extra. If you don't, you're just left with a plate of meat. In fact, we paid over £100 for a meal that should be half the price, really, and I've had a far better meal at half the price in lesser well-known places.If you have a vouchers. Don't think it's paying for a meal with the extra hidden costs they drop on you once there!!They didn't even have the meal we asked doe in the menu, so we kept having to pick something else.I would try somewhere less well-known and more relaxing.The venue was okay, a bit like a cafe and nothing to write home about.It seemed to be all about how much money they can get before you left rather than wanting you to enjoy the experience. We left there feeling a bit cheated and disappointed. It just all felt false, forced, pretentious, and a bit crass!

Lovely restuarant with plenty of space around the tables. The views from the tables are beautiful looking down to the vineyard. The service was great and all the staff were really friendly.The afternoon tea we had was lovely and the lunch menu that others were having around us smelt and looked tasty too.Would definitely go back here again

Great coffee, lovely food. The hot food on the afternoon tea was the best part. The room for afternoon tea is small so if there is a big party in there it gets quite loud, very quickly and not very chilled afternoon tea" but my mam was happy enough!"

Enjoyed afternoon tea with friends. Lovely smart setting and the food was good and plentiful.We we're originally put in a booth along front window but no shade, it was baking hot and too bright so asked to move. We were told that it was full when it clearly wasn't. We did move.Service let the experience down - tea was sloppily poured from height into cups, we had to keep calling staff over for a top up.

We took the wine tasting/vineyard tour followed by lunch at the restaurant . There was a good range of dishes and they all have a recommended wine pairing. Really recommend the mango/coconut meringue dessert with a glass of Llanerch's Cariad Hâf (as long as you like things sweet!)

Today I had such a poor meal at Llanerch vineyard I have had to write my first ever negative review. I don’t like doing this, as it is the opposite of what I want, as it means I’ve had to eat a bad meal. Let’s start with the positives, the bread. Before the kitchen got their hands on it, the bread was very good. The bread was the high spot but it was served with what I can only describe as slimy butter. This butter was unpleasant. Starters ranged from the fairly bad to the inedible. Honestly, the starters were very poor. They were sent back half eaten. Main course dishes were no better; an overly salted cod and chips was dismal. The sea bream was slightly worse. The side of potato terrine was largely uneaten. This was £30 for a 2 course menu, which with service and water (£6 a bottle) ended up £40 a head, it was a total waste of money.

This is one of our favourite places to eat day or night, evenings or Sunday lunch. The location is convenient for us and a lovely part of northern Cardiff. The restaurant is lovely, modern chic, with stylish wood decor and lots of plants. The service is pleasant and professional. Plenty of helpful, courteous staff.The various meals we've had there are just wonderful. Quite rich, but if you like plentifully portioned Sunday lunches or fine meat selections and vegetable options, it's spot on. Good wine selection too, though on the pricey side. Try some of their wines, you won't be disappointed.It really is a special place and a pleasure to dine there.

1st time for us, had a gift voucher, quick n prompt friendly service, food was not up to much at all, plates were cold and so was the food.Good atmosphere and ambience.
