Ernest Cocks provided us with the best possible service through a really challenging time. Sarah and the team went above and beyond at all times and showed us all the upmost respect and delivered the best possible care to my mother on her final journey. We could not rate them higher before the funeral everything was processed in fine detail at our pace and with compassion and dignity towards all involved. During the funeral they were highly professional and supportive and the aftercare in the days following was an unexpected extra that was highly welcomed. Honestly for one of the hardest and emotionally fuelled times in life they are the best set of people to walk you through it! Thank you so much especially to Sarah and the team!

We had the funeral service for our mum today, from start to finish Sarah, Tiny and the team couldn’t do enough to support us, nothing was too much trouble, we were given as much time as we needed, requests were accommodated last minute and the after service is second to none. The Company provided a very caring and efficient service in dealing with my wife's sudden death and Cremation wishes. They were excellent in providing the information I needed and in helping me through the process. They kept in touch throughout and kept me informed of what was happening. When I visited the Office, I felt that they cared about me and about how I was feeling. I would happily recommend the Company.

The building was very nice. The staff were kind.On our visit, we were met with a lovely lady named Elaina. She in fact was very polite and respectful. She was very well mannered.However, every question we had was followed by “I don’t know I’m not from Gloucester”. it is Not Elaina fault at all that she’s not from Gloucester, but we have never gone through such a traumatic heartbreaking and devastating situation in our lives, and it wasn’t helping that we went there to find out information and left with none.We were lost where to start and what to do, and being told she doesn’t know and someone else will let us know “soon” wasn’t very reassuring or supportive.We left even more confused than when we came in. This was a heartbreaking situation and we couldn’t take a “I don’t know” for an answer in this delicate situation.Surely whoever is in charge would place someone familiar and knowledgable with the area and local services. We had so many questions and we were just told she doesn’t know. We left with no questions answered. This was the last thing we needed as a family after having to deal with other issues regarding the passing away.We decided to go elsewhere the following day and they have organised it pretty much all in the first visit.Dealing with customers who have gone through such a loss in their life you would expect to be reassured informed of the whole process - especially because me and my family are foreign, we don’t know how funerals worked in the UK which we explained.

Craig did a magnificent job by listening carefully to what we wanted and guiding us through the process. He made it very easy and I would highly recommend Ernest Cocks .
