Bedford Point Sopra Steria UKVCAS Centre

Bought the express service to get faster decision. Selected this centre at Croydon for the interview on 10am 8 Aug (appointments after 10am is free, chargeable others is). I got the decision after 3 hours attending the appointment. Good service in general. Though it kept me waiting for 30mins post my scheduled appointment time while in the centre.I travelled by car and there are plenty of street parking around with a maximum of 2 hour stay. £3/hr. Pay through RingGo or by the meter!

Arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and was allowed in. You first go through security in the reception area by the entrance. You show them your QR code that has your appointment as well as your passport for ID and then another guard checks any bags you have, etc. They then direct you for your appointment where I was greeted by a friendly staff member where you take a seat in the waiting area. You then wait for your number to be called (which are the last 4 numbers on your appointment letter underneath your name). I was called around 25 minutes after my appointment time which isn’t bad at all considering I thought it would be a longer wait. I was served by a lovely lady who was kind and patient and was there for around 25 minutes or so where I had my fingerprints and photo taken and had a handful of documents scanned. Overall a positive experience which really helped considering I was feeling a bit nervous in case I had forgotten something. Glad I chose the Croydon location. On a separate note, there is a really lovely pub next door if someone has travelled with you who doesn’t have an appointment (they won’t be allowed in with you) where they can wait for you and enjoy a nice beverage.

I received unbelievable kind service here today. I came with my newborn and they were so patient with us even though it was so difficult to get his picture . They then offered me a quiet private room to nurse my baby. Everyone was friendly , kind , helpful and efficient. It really made my day.

Center opens at 8am and even arriving early for my appointment I had to wait in the cold outside for 35 minutes and there was already a queue formed before the open. Appointment itself only took 8 minutes start to finish as documentation was already uploaded. I’m sure it would have taken longer had this step not been completed. My individual was very nice that processed my application. While I was leaving there was no longer a queue so at least individuals were taken out of the cold.

Attended on a Tuesday at 1pm. No wait whatsoever. Efficient and staff was polite enough. Nothing to complain about

Prompt service. They have accomodated all applicants just before 8am. I spent no longer than 10mins in the cubicle for my photos and fingerprints. They would scan all of the pages in your current passport.Location is just 7 mins walk from train station.If you ar driving to ge there, there is a metered parking space beside the office.Hope it helps.

Horrible service! Disrespected not only myself but my mother as well. Took 4 hours to complete and I guarantee that it won’t take less time than that. If you have opportunity choose other service.

Quick and professional service. Don’t go there before your allocated time slot, based on the desk availability, they call you from the security.There wasn’t any queue on Tuesday morning and the all process was very smooth. The security staff was very friendly. We finished our all process in 20-25 mins.The staff at the desk could be little bit more talkative and friendly, but it was okay overall.6-8 mins walking distance to train station.

An unfortunate experience I had the day I visited it took over 3 hours for me to be seen for my appointment after the time I had originally booked. Their systems went down so ended up having to wait outside into the dark and cold to have my appointment done. When I finally made it in for my appointment they were friendly and it took around 5 minutes. I requested a refund on my £75 appointment fee and the first time I requested but they said it would take 10 business days to process but still no refund, then I emailed again and it was processed in 2 extra business days. Seems they have quite frequent outages and it's pretty poor that they've not found a better way to deal with the masses that rely on this service to stay in this country.
