Halfords - Greyhound Park (Chester)
I have not used the cycle clips yet but am sure they will be fine : just what I needed and a fair price. However the click and collect did not work well. I was told that I would get an email or text when they were in store but received neither. I checked on the tracking link which said dispatched but not yet in store. Eventually I phoned Halfords customer service and was told (after hanging on for 10-15 minutes) that they were in store. A lot of effort for such a small item!

Turned up to the store at 5:30 on the dot, knowing that online it stated “6pm closing time”. I arrived at the store to find staff locking the doors and shutting the shutters. I even checked on the windows and it again stated “6pm”. I understand it’s a Saturday and people want an early finish but now I cannot get the part I desperately needed for my car until tomorrow so I have to miss work. If the timings have changed please state the new times as this is ridiculous

Had great service today from the Halfords shop in Chester on The Greyhound Park. I needed my tyre pressure checked and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Ben went the extra mile checking the oil and topping up my windscreen wash.All this was free, no charges. I can highly recommend them, no job was too small.I thought they were cheerful and efficient,a great combination!

Booked my Mini Clubman in for a new battery, arrived at store for the work to be done. Halfords were spot on with my appointment time and the battery was replaced without any problems whilst I waited. ( One disappoint was no facilities in store for refreshments whilst waiting, a coffee machine would be much appreciated ).

Awful experience. Good price for product. Ordered Saturday and promised for collection Mon after 10am. I called at 11.30am to be told it might arrive by 4pm. Finally got first call from the manager at 4pm who was going to look into it. Been to busy for the previous 6 hours. Finally arrived Tuesday. Customer services abroad. No head office to contact. Still not had a reply to my complaint. Worst service I have ever had.

The fitter was excellent. Unfortunately the booking was not smooth and they allowed me to book a 1hr job when the fitter was only available for 30 minutes. This necessitated faffing about and coming in early to fit.

We recently bought a hybrid bike for my son from Halfords Chester. Customer service was great and we bought a nice bike at a good price.We had to take the bike back yo Halfords for some repairs and it was done promptly.I would like to especially mention the name of ELVISE for his great communication, promptness and customer service.

Very unimpressed. Spent the best part of £500 today on the Thule Force XT. As we collected it from Halfords the box was open and it nearly fell out moving it to the car. The box was out of its plastic wrappings etc. and all the clamps were unpacked and loose inside. I got the Manager to show him and to be fair he offered to order a replacement. At first sight all looked ok and we took it as there was not time to re-order. When we fitted it to the bars all the sliding mechanisms were out of place and the adjustments could not be operated. I spent an hour fixing it all but what are Halfords playing at? Was this a previous return as a defective unit? Someone is not doing their job properly. 0/10score with Halfords.
