Worse Chinese we’ve had in years! £40 of Chinese and half of it went in the bin. Rang my order through and told it would be 15 to 20mins, However we had to wait another 40mins. On arrival behind the counter were kids and the women was constantly tell them off. Have to check meal after leaving the takeaway in my car as I could heard that orders were getting mixed up.Chowmein had an strange taste unsure what it was. Crispy seaweed was like eating chewing gum. Batter on sweet and sour was not crispy, it was soggy. Will definitely won’t be coming back and won’t be recommending it either!!!!

Absolutely amazing Chinese! Lovely man inside recommended the salt and pepper box which includes chips, ribs, chicken & chicken balls and it was absolutely insane! First time but won’t be the last! Would 100% recommend. Lovely staff :)

service was average, opening times were ace, food was actually great despite multiple thick black hairs through the meal, and when called up about it, nothing was offered in replacement and the staff couldn't have been more useless for me. I'm not one to write negative reviews ever but this really annoyed me.

Very busy ( world cup +Engerrland !)3 Children situated behind the counter constantly shouting, bickering & distracting the lady (mum?) trying her very best to appease everyone. Kids repeatedly shouting PHONE" at the top of their voices every time the phone rang

This was the first Chinese takeaway we've had in years. What have we been missing? This place is brilliant! We had the Cantonese set meal for 2. Everything was perfection including the extremely fast delivery. Will definitely use again and 100% recommend. Well done.

Extremely disappointed with the attitude of one of the staff in particular at this place not sure who she is or who she thinks she is! A Chinese’s women with long dark hair absolutely Appalling attitude and disgusting how she speaks to the other staff and customers there I’ve been ordering and having Chinese from China kitchen delivered for years and it’s always been brilliant staff always polite except for this horrible woman the shops clearly under new management bring back the old owners!

Had an amazing meal a few weeks ago. Only down side was not being able to either pay online or over the phone. But everything else was out of this world. Just what we expect from the best Chinese in Retford!

We haven't been to China Kitchen for a while, and what a pleasant surprise. Tastes and textures just as they should be. Fresh ingredients nicely cooked. Oh, and excellent service. Well done.
