Studio Werc Architects

Working with Ed and Xiao at Studio Werc Architects on this project was a very smooth process and I highly recommend their firm. Choosing an architect for a large project is daunting, but they made it straightforward and easy, patiently answering all our questions and addressing our concerns. They listened to what we wanted to achieve from the house and they certainly gave us as much space as they could! The attention to detail was excellent and their support during the build invaluable. We are delighted with our home now and there is more than enough space for us all to enjoy our own areas! Thank you very much, we're very happy customers!

Rob was so fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted and needed from the build and accommodated this perfectly into the plans. The design was something different to what is normally seen in our area but elements were added to keep it sympathetic to the surrounding houses (for example stone work and gable ends). Will definitely be coming to Studio Werc for our next project!

Ed and his team helped my husband and I to totally remodel a Victorian house in a conservation area. He was knowledgeable about what parameters we'd be able to push with the council and was proactive and timely in helping us when our application when to committee. He was patient with our (many) redesigns and we wouldn't hesitate to do another project with Studio Werc.

We live in Lincolnshire and found that the local architect’s style is often somewhat ‘traditional’. We wanted to work with an architect who had a much more modern vision and we loved the look of Studio Werc’s previous projects. Aside from providing us with the obvious (architectural drawings!), Rob was enormously helpful with suggesting ideas and inputting into the final design for our barn conversion. He mapped out where all of our light fittings should go around the house, he encouraged us to keep wider corridors in areas whereby we’d have opted for larger rooms without his advice (thanks Rob as we’re so pleased we listened to you on this!)… just so many little details that make an enormous difference to the finished look and feel of a home. It felt like an architectural come interior design service wrapped into one. We loved working with Studio Werc & would 100% recommend them!

We worked with Ed on a ground floor renovation and extension in SW11. We’re now mid-way through the build and very happy with the design which we would have not have thought of ourselves. Ed’s plans are incredibly detailed which has ensured the builders have clarity on things such as electrical plans, door and window specs etc so I wasn’t overwhelmed with questions. Ed also managed the tender process for us and introduced us to our builders who are fantastic. We would not hesitate to work with Studio Werc again.

Exceptional. Studio Werc was fantastic from the very first conversation we had. Rob and Xiao did our initial plan meeting and had some great ideas. Xiao then managed the rest of our project and was a DREAM. So organised, helpful, clear and lovely to work with. Studio Werc felt like a bit of a luxury initially as we were only renovating the downstairs but it was genuinely worth every penny and I wouldn’t change a thing. Ed and his team were great to work with and I would highly recommend. They came to meet us at the property several times and helped mould our vision into reality, over several amendments.During the project itself Ed was always available at short notice for a phone call or site visit which was hugely appreciated.Overall great experience and at a good price point.

We really enjoyed working with Ed on our project. He helped us to re-model our 1930s house and turn it in to a home. He patiently dealt with our ever-changing whims, but made the whole process fun.
