Don’t waste your money!! We paid £175 for 2 adults and 3 children, travelled 2.5hrs from Lincolnshire for my daughter’s 11th birthday and it was a complete disappointment!!!The booking email said “arrive 15 minutes before your booking and be aware that if you are late this time will be reduced from your time inside the room”. We arrived 25 minutes early and entered via the sketchy, easy-to-miss entrance and were told to “go and do something else for half an hour as there were people in the room. There’s not a lot of family friendly activities in the area so after waiting 15 minutes on the street we went back. We were shown into an area that had distinct “human trafficking” vibes and loud sound of dripping water. We were given a walkie-talkie and a brief explanation of the story of our room (School of Magic 2). Next we were taken through to another area in front of the entrance to our room (which also housed a pool table topped with broken equipment) and had to wait while employees ran in and out with clues/props as the room hadn’t been reset. When we were shown into the room only 1 of the 4 “torches” on the wall was working so there was barely any light. We had to use our phones to be able to see anything. Nearly all of the clues/props were broken and one was just an off-cut of wood with sharpie writing on. There was no flow between the activities and more than once the magnetic releases for the door/draw/secret compartment didn’t work or was already open. The automated voice clues were so quiet we missed most of them.Several times we had to walkie-talkie for a hint as the broken clue/door left us with no way to progress. For a large part of our time in the room we could hear players in another room through our walkie-talkie which caused confusion to them and us!On entering the final room of the experience, it was obvious it hadn’t been reset properly and we found the final clue immediately. There were no lights at all in this room but we persevered and tried to solve all the puzzles. Out of nowhere an employee dresses in a cloak, child’s witches hat and a scary mask appeared (which terrified the children as the room was pitch black!) and “stole” the final clue and half of the one we were working on before disappearing back into the previous room. We had no idea what was going on - and couldn’t move forward without the items he took! We radioed for advice and were told the items had “found their way back” which meant they’d been dumped back in the previous room. We eventually solved the final puzzle, opened the chest and…… empty?!? Then an employee entered through the emergency exit with the final “stolen” clue and said there wasn’t supposed to be anything in the chest and well done for finishing. To say we were completely bemused would be an understatement! The employee took some photos of us then disappeared and left us to find our own way out.The whole experience was poorly managed, dilapidated and for the price we paid quite frankly a scam!

I turned up to the correct location that the email said, the shutters were closed and no answer (photo below to prove this) went to other location where we were hoping to speak to a person again shutters closed (photo below to prove this) we then left the location after 45 minutes of trying to call and email with an answer to what’s happening, no answer straight to voice mail. Then got a call 1 hour later and to be told they don’t know what’s happened there, very unapologetic said they can be back there in 20 mins if we still wanted to do it but obviously we was long gone.Lost £40 travel money too and from the location and 2 1/2 hours of our very short holiday. So thank you for that.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

The most impressive escape room I have ever been to. The storytelling was extremely engaging and interesting, and I was driven to finish just to get to the end of the story. The design and puzzles were extremely well-done, and all of the technology worked very well.

It was so much fun! I highly recommend playing this one. This was totally different experience I have ever done before. It definitely spooked me out a lot but in a good way. All the puzzles were very fun and clever. The staff are super friendly.

I never leave poor reviews but the experience here was such a fever dream that I had to put it into words. I’ve done a fair few escape rooms before and this was easily the worst. The venue itself appears to be in a converted garage and everything about it seems…dodgy. I’ve since seen another review that says the waiting area feels like a place you get kidnapped and yep, couldn’t agree more. Imagine an escape room venue which is a front for human trafficking and you’ll get the vibe of this place.Moving to the room, none of the puzzles flowed together and everything was a bit broken/ didn’t work properly. The ‘production value’ was so low effort with some of the puzzles even being hand written. The room included a “live actor” as Jack the Ripper who wore a Harry Potter robe and a Halloween mask and attempted to jumpscare us at different points - I think this was an attempt to make the room immersive but the Gryffindor robes undercut that a bit….Aside from the puzzles not making sense to each other and the low quality props etc, there were also some safety concerns. Any electrical component had exposed wiring around it and the room also had an actual hand saw in as part of one of the puzzles - the saw had not been blunted and we almost cut ourselves on it.Overall everything felt low budget/ low quality and to charge £40 per person was absolutely extortionate. Oh well, at least we laughed about it and have a funny story!

Listen to the 1-star reviews and save your money.Words can't describe the experience we went through. After finishing the escape room we read the 1-star reviews and agree wholeheartedly. After descending a long corridor through a garage door with no signs we arrived with nobody to help us. We were then asked to wait in the 'red room' while the Squid room was made available. Five colleagues from work were surrounded by sex toys and a nightmare. After the human trafficking lobby and red room, we wondered if we should run. The experience only declined from there on.We fought through room after room of no puzzles, broken technology, exposed wires and poor lighting. Every wall had a sign saying if you got an error, please wait 10 seconds. We solved one puzzle because the answer had been scrawled into dust twice. Turns out that wasn't the clue. After room 1 and 2 we found ourself battling on the radio with the staff on how everything didnt work.As a team, I can say we have bonded but not through the experience we expected. There are far better escape rooms out there. Flee if you see this garage door and spend your money elsewhere

We played Da Vinci with a group of 6. Overall we had fun but there was no narrative to speak of and the overall puzzle quality was very average - it took us only 35 mins to escape. Some puzzles seemed to be solved rather randomly and others I think depended on the host seeing if we were doing something right to unlock the next one! Overall this puzzle room felt like it needed a refresh

Jack the Ripper game is so much fun! The game is tense, strategic and engaging for players. As a detective, you need to collect clues to solve the case. The design and graphics of the game are also great and give it a sense of realism. In addition, other services are very good and the staff are friendly and polite. The price is reasonable and you are sure to be completely satisfied. Ripper games and other premium services are available here so you can enjoy the complete experience at a great price.
