I have learned much, and gained a significant resource for my family history. Natalie is great to work with, patient, interested in history, and a wealth of knowledge. Luckily I went with Natalie's suggestion that she collate and enter my information. When Natalie first suggested doing this as part of the work I thought to myself I could probably do that". Luckily I listened to Natalie and I have an invaluable record as well as breakthroughs along the way. Not only is it a base to start with

Natalie was very efficient and knowledgeable, helping us to determine different directions to maximise best use of her time to discover more about our family history. The initial online consultation was very useful to explore ideas and share information we already had. She suggested alternatives and we liked the way she looked into different links using newspapers and embellishing some of the skeleton details of past family members. We could imagine more about the daily lives of our family and it gave an insight into life in society for them at that time. We have certainly been inspired to search further for details of more relatives and piece together the family links.Natalie has provided us with a lot more information from original sources which we would not have accessed ourselves. We started with one UK marriage certificate. We ended up with a tale of wealth and crime along with hardship and loyalty. We engaged Natalie from Genealogy Stories to undertake a family history study of one line of our family. Natalie facilitated an initial consultation where we discussed research objectives and agreed upon scope. Throughout the process, Natalie kept us informed of progress which was great.Natalie's research culminated in a zoom presentation that allowed for the family to join.
