This squires personally is the best in East London the one in Canning town is trash.Abula her is 7.5 I really enjoy it, I would recommend having big pieces of meat rather than having them in small cuts as we are adults eating here not children.Amala Is always so smooth and fresh, plus the service is always a 10/10.

Yet again a typical Nigerian establishment with typical Nigerian service which is not good enough. The restaurant looks run down and no effort seems to have been made to try to modernise it. So sad because the food is relatively ok. This is the East Ham branch.

The owner" just responded that there is no Sadiq in their East Ham branch. I ordered my food from East Ham branch and NOT canning town branch. Unless your worker gave a fake name. At least you know the number of staff on duty...not many staff for you to check.I just ordered 2 plates of egusi and ogbolo soup. The ogbono was smelling and tasting extremely soured on arrival. I called and spoke to their staff called Sadiq. He was extremely insensitive asking me "what do you want me to do"? The only option is for you to order more food and I will add another soup. Whilst it is not so much about the money

I can’t even rate this place. Very very very bad customer service. Spoke to a staff to report an issue on their Uber eats page and his responses were very derogatory. Shameful!

Review for the Canning Town branch . I ordered through Uber eats . Egusi never came although I paid for it . Jollof rice made with long grain rice and burnt . It was disgusting , the efo had a weird smell. This was such a awful order to the point where I drove myself to the branch to complain in person . You wouldn’t eat this yourself or your family then why sell such nasty food .

I made a visit to the try the food at the Barking Road branch with a friend of mine. I had the Okro-Ogbono soup with beef and pounded yam. The other options were assorted meats (including shaki/tripe) and fish however, the beef option was plenty enough for me.The food is warm, flavourful and has a perfect amount of spice. It was perfect for my taste palette as I enjoy spicy food. The staff explained the meat and fish options to me clearly and were friendly to us. I recommend you to have a try if you're ever near Canning Town in East London!PS. We had a conversation with a lady whilst waiting for our meal and she clarified to me that Nigerian people eat there regularly so thats how you know its lit.

Personal experience has been 8.5 out of 10. I have been eating there for a few years now and they havent let me down. Always well packed and when i eat in, its a vibe. Since nothing is perfect, hence the 8.5. I definitely recommend especially to those who miss yoruba home cooking...and those who dare add flavour to their lives.
