Wickes Bognor Regis

Unprofessional and unreliable kitchen and bathroom teamUnfortunately our experience wasn’t a positive one. We went to several kitchen showrooms before deciding to go local with Wickes. They had only one traditional wooden look kitchen option. Ordered a £12K kitchen and paid £1K deposit on 16th March. Our assistant, Wayne told us a surveyor would come round in 2-4 weeks. Fitting would probably take place late July-August. It seemed a long wait but we agreed. We had to chase them again and again, to ask when the surveyor would come round. Answers to our emails were a hit and miss. 2 months later we finally got an appointment for Thursday 19th May 5pm. By 6pm nobody had turned up, called the store, “no surveyor in today”, the chap that booked it was on holiday. They offer another appointment for the following week but told us the fitting is unlikely to happen before September-October now. We asked to speak to the manager, Matt, and they assured us he’d give us a call the following day, Friday, but nobody called. Fed up, we decide to cancel the entire order and have the deposit refunded. A polite assistant, Pierre, told us that Wayne, who placed the original order for us, would give us a call the following day (Saturday) to process the refund. Needless say, Wayne did not call. We went to the store and found a rather embarrassed/apologetic Pierre who sorted the refund for us in a matter of minutes, Wayne serving other customers opposite us, ignoring us. Many thanks to Pierre for sorting a mess he did not cause. Dejected and frustrated we have now decided to abandon the kitchen project for this year, can’t say we’d recommend Wickes to anyone.

My delivery was scheduled to come out Monday 15/06/2020 from Bognor, it didn’t turned up and I didn’t get a phone call or email from any store or customer service. So I went into my local store (Bognor Regis) the guy that was on the customer service desk said he would call me by end of day before the store closed to confirm my delivery, I had no call so I went back the next day and the guy lies to my face and said he would only call if the delivery wasn’t coming out on Wednesday. I also phoned customer support on 16/06/2020 to find out where our delivery was, I spent 1 hour and 15 minutes on hold and as soon as I got through to someone they cut the call off.This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life not only does the guy on till lie to me telling me my delivery was coming out on Wednesday 17th June also saying it’s coming from the Worthing Store. So I phone customer service again when they told me it’s actually coming from Chichester but not until the Thursday 18th. I have never had such bad service and will be never using Wickes again or Recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic customer service from the 3 young guys at Wickes Bognor this morning, so helpful! Found the flooring I needed high up on the top shelves and then voluntarily packed it carefully in my car while I paid. Thank you!

Very helpful staff. Luke B was a very friendly chap on both occasions he has helped me. The till lady was nice too. Very tidy store.

Extremely easy to get to and usually plenty of parking. Store is very well laid out and plenty of room in each aisle to navigate through the store. Click and Collect service is excellent, you usually get a text within about 30 minutes of placing an order online - and the order is always there to pick up straight away. Very well organised and efficiently run store.

Nice easy to shop store, our closest since Chichester closed. Good prices and friendly service.

Wickes in Bognor , has a lot of stock , their pretty generic nowadays good for getting materials quite quickly , can be expensive, but hey it's a DIY / builder convinence store. Well stocked as ever , good for getting materials for projects.

Not a big store but stocked well for building or DIY jobs. Friendly staff, very helpful. Good deals sometimes on workwear. Easy car or van parking and also a mobile tea/snack van in the carpark. Need a kitchen or bathroom, they sell these too.
