Bensons Cafe
as someone who's worked in restaurants for four years of my life the service I just received was shocking . Underneath my table was so dirty , it took very long to get even my drink which I find hilarious as the waitress I received asked me as soon as I sat down if I wanted to order . It seems as if they wanted me out already , half of the restaurant was closed so it makes no sense how it took so long to get them . My food was cold too , overall disliked my experience here . Do not recommend .

A good greasy spoon cafe at good affordable prices. We really enjoyed the salt & chilli chips & the breakfast burrito. The cakes are also really good! The coffee isn’t the greatest but overall a great affordable meal. Definitely will be back when I’m in the Forge.

Spot on. Lots of staff no queue and it's all open sided so it feels relaxing.Went in with the lads and we had a good gobble. Nothing left on the plates.Not a rip off either.

Placed an order through just eat waited around 40 minutes & still no order. Called the restaurant & they explained delay due to football traffic, which is understandable. After nearly 2 hours the food arrived , however the staff obviously made the food around 2 hours ago when the order was placed & we have received soggy & cold food! Vile , if there’s a delay the food should of not been made and left waiting!! Shocking service

Really lovely soup and toasty, lots of tasty things on the menu to choose from, all 3 of us there enjoyed our meal. Staff were friendly and service was fast, thanks again

Great little place to grab something to eat.Traditional Scotish pie and fry are great.Will come back to check the Apple pie soon.Seating is plenty though the noise from the mall is a bit loud.Service is nice and the place is clean.1 fork was a bit dirty but we managed, and surely if we ask we could had have a replacement.
