Porchester Dental Practice

I visited on the 26th October 2023 for a filling. I am so pleased with the dentist Shema and her assistant. It’s by far the most relaxed I’ve ever felt in a dentist chair and I will never dread going to the dentist again. Thank you so much. Regards Johnny

From the moment I walked into the dentist for a check up as a new patient to then having 2 extractions my dentist, Mandy made me feel so much at ease.I honestly cannot express Mandy’s caring, warm nature & concern that she showed to me, as a patient from start to finish.Above anything taking into account my wellbeing. Whilst Mandy was giving me the anaesthetic she was always asking if I’m ok, if I’m in any pain, if I can feel anything from start to finish, just being so super compassionate towards me, my feelings & making sure I didn’t feel anything at all, pain wise.This was definitely one of Mandy’s main concerns for me, which I really did appreciated her acknowledging that!Mandy just wanted to make sure I was ok which I’ve never really experienced from any other dentist tbh, So this was so refreshing, surprising & very lovely.Mandy has such a personal touch, even from meeting her, you can tell she really does care for her patients.I was talked to through the extraction & she kept checking in on me which again made me feel so much better about it all & reassuring me throughout.I honestly cannot recommend her & the practice enough & give Mandy huge thanks.The kindest, most super caring & lovelylady, it really does make such a difference & it really does mean so much.All of the staff at the dental practice are so lovely & very welcoming too

Went to Porchester Road Dentist with my mum. Asked for a checkup clean and polish. Was told in a rude manner 'The dentist decides if she gets a polish'. My mum was no longer than 5 minutes getting her teeth cleaned. Even when my mum asked for a polish, she was denied. A quick polish takes no more than one minute. I told the receptionist who was making lot's of excuses in my opinion. Still charged full price £23.80 for 5 minutes work. Not happy at all and my mum will not be going to this dentist ever again.

The best dentist! I’d never go anywhere else. Both of my children come here too and both enjoy coming for their check ups.

5 star Botox and filler treatments!Mandy is so lovely and professional.She gave myself and my Mum a full consultation, listened to our concerns and recommended the right treatment’s for us.The treatments were carried out with care and she talked us through what she was doing step by step.Fabulous results! Good dental assistants and reception staff from my experience.Had a bad experience with the one dentist I saw (he did apologise for being condescending), but can't comment on the others. This one lacked professionalism and was strangely personal and defensive. I thought maybe I'd just caught them on a bad day, but they said that basically that's just how they are.Due to this personality clash I've booked to see a different dentist next time. I thought it might've changed a bit since I last managed to get in; I think I was just unlucky this time.

This practice is brilliant from top to bottom people can often leave negativity but my experience is nothing but positive and not just for the occasional appointmentAt times things don’t go to plan but they always try their very best and ensure you’re looked after with care and professionalismWell done.
