Henwick Halt Medical Centre

All of the Doctors in my experience at the practice are very good. I have had a couple of telephone consultations with Dr Fairbrother and feel that he is very compassionate and informative.It can be difficult to get through on the phone but then this is the case at most busy GP surgeries.After consistently good service from the doctors I feel a positive review is deserved.

Disorganised and nobody ever available to speak to! Have been told twice I’ve been given a telephone appointment but no doctor calls you so I’m now waiting in a que for 2hr 10mins just to find out my 3rd blood resultsI was avoiding to change surgery because of the hassle whist under going test but I would rather do that as there’s no service provided.

All the doctors and nurse practitioners are very considerate and understanding. I personally think this Doctors surgery is one of the best in Worcester. ♥️

I have never been this disappointed by a GP surgery.I moved to St John's and registered with Henwick Halt. A couple of months later, I began to struggle with a medical condition.Firstly, getting through to someone at Henwick Halt is a challenge. They don't seem to have a waiting system so it's constantly engaged. Once I actually got to speak to someone, I was usually offered a call back the same day, which is great.Unfortunately, I got to speak to a different person every time so there was no consistency. They tried 2-3 different things but none of them helped my condition. I called, saying this is affecting me mentally because by then I was struggling for months.That's when I spoke to a nurse and she basically told me to just stick with painkillers. I asked her if I could call back in a few weeks if I still struggle because I don't want to be dependent on using painkillers every day for the rest of my life and she told me there's no point. I was in tears after that call.A few days later I switched surgeries but because of my experience with the nurse at Henwick Halt I was too scared to call and suffered for another 2 months before the painkillers actually became less effective and I was forced to do something.Not only is it much easier to get to speak to someone now, I got to see a GP the day after I called and she examined me properly. We're still trying to get to the bottom of what it is but I feel so much safer now because they seem to care.That being said, my child was looked after much better at Henwick Halt and some of the people I spoke to were very nice and dedicated. However, after feeling completely brushed off and let down by the nurse, I cannot give a better rating than 1 star.

I can see improvement in making appointments by phone, even if I have to wait for a long (I do understand de high volume of calls), also online appointments makes everything more easy for me. The doctors are fine and receptionists are ok.This 5 stars are for online service witch I see amazing and most easy to deal with non emergency situations!

this doctors is absolutely appalling. poor organisation, nasty people, disrespectful, rude, have absolutely no care for their patients. last month i was on hold for 2.5 hours for a 30 second phone call. there are a select few doctors here but honestly its pot luck as to if you get them or not. the main issue is with the pharmacy and reception staff. i recommend you register with literally any other doctors in worcester.

Takes forever to get through on phone, so I used to go down to reception at 8.00 am but then they stopped doing that, said you have to phone. When I got to see a nurse, eventually, she advised booking by email and gave me the address, that was only 6 months ago. Of course now they have stopped that, so back to spending a couple of hours on the phone, if I am lucky, might get an appointment.

Called this morning, took me nearly an hour on the phone waiting to talk to the receptionist but put my phone on speaker and carried on doing my duties whilst waiting, I have got an appointment for today in the morning. It is pretty good to be seen the same day!

Every time I phone the surgery it takes forever for anyone to answer the phone, yesterday I was waiting for so long that i gave up in the end.And another thing, I went to Henwick Halt Surgery to see a GP, she came to reception, behind the screen, and diagnosed me in front of other patients in the waiting room, which I'm sure is illegal. Then she gave me BUSCOPAN, which is for irritable bowel syndrome , is she a qualified doctor or what?? I do not have, and have NEVER HAD IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME !! she knows who she is !! it's a damn disgrace !!!!!!!!HOW MUCH LONGER ARE TOU GOING TO TELL ME IM CALL ER NUMBER 1 IN THE QUEUE??? ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE !!!

The worst clinic I have ever been to. I call, no one answers the phone. Diagnosis over the phone and I have to buy the medicine myself. So why call when I can go to the pharmacy and buy what I need.
