Kaplan Living Brighton - Circus Street

The most friendly and welcome student accommodation I’ve come across, with a variety of facilities, located right at the heart of brighton allowing it to be an easy access to almost everything in brighton. The management team are one of the most open and welcoming team I’ve met who are extremely friendly as well. The rooms are way more than satisfactory and comfortable.

basically I'd put 5 out of 5 if I'm rating the building and staff, however, residents r the reason behind the missing star. Honestly, I love everything about kaplan >> care + events + facilities + friendly staff + easy life away etc.For the missing star, sadly Kaplan is the only accommodation I've been to that is full of naughty teens.It's not a big problem for most of residents and still perfect for un-mature students to be fair.I believe to get a nicer student friendly environment, Kaplan needs to be more strict with unnessecrely noise, smoking area, and language.Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆.

It has been one of the worst experiences to work with this company, i have booked a room there and then have asked for a refund, i have the proof of the fact the money has been transferred to the property, however, all i have been receiving so far is denial, managers say they cant access anything and nor are able to answer my questions , and when i ask for someone who will be able to answer my questions, they say they cant!I have been trying to get my refund for over a month now, but every time i call, they say they are still looking for the money!

Horrible accommodation, the rooms are fine but the staff and service is below average. The staff is unfair, rude and have a very hostile attitude. Do not recommend at all!!!

I stayed here during August 2022. The location of this accommodation was great, only a few minutes walk from the Pier and the city centre. The wifi is free and fairly consistent. However, there were a lot of issues with this accommodation and this was apparent when I first arrived. The queue for check-in was about 20 people in front of me, and there was just one man available to check each person in. The building was extremely hot throughout, and being on the fourth floor only made things worse. There is no air conditioning and the window only opens about 10cm, so airflow in the room is restricted. I slept with a damp towel around my neck to help cool me off.I arrived in the room and it hadn't been cleaned properly. Although the bathroom and bedding were clean, there were crumbs on the floor and on the desk, and litter from the previous guests inside one of the cupboards.The listing advertises kitchen facilities, but there are not any available at all. This meant I had to buy food each day instead of preparing my own, and there was no way of having tea or coffee in the mornings. The sink in the bathroom is tiny and therefore it is impossible to fill your water bottles up with it, so I had to keep buying water each day. I know this accommodation was cheap, but I expected a higher standard than this and I am extremely disappointed.

Absolutely trash experience with kaplan living brightonI had booked an ensuite room in kaplan by paying £250 to confirm my booking but the accomodation took ages to find that payment and they asked me to deposit the same amount again, even though I provided them with a proof of my transaction, as it takes 7 days for a proof of payment to arriveThis happened to me this and the previouse year aswell, which is totally not acceptable as I payed the booking Infront of the staff on the reception, as told.Furthermore the staff and the manager didn't seem to be much corporative, and I was continuously being emailed to pay the deposit otherwise my room will be cancel.

I have been living here for the last 4 months of a 6 month stay. It became apparent rather quickly when I moved in the accommodation had an ant infestation. Reports were made but the necessary levels of response are care were not taken until the issue became worse and I assume new reports were made due to the start of the academic year.The accommodation has since been undergoing treatment with some initial signs of improvement but no sign of an ant free experience and I still continue to share my room with a host of ants in/ around my bed and bathroom.Effective communication from the accommodation has also been few and far between with promises of a reply often broken and emails not replied to for upto a week. Made worse by the fact I often see staff members resting with their heads on the reception desk/ playing online games.I cannot reccomend this accommodation. Look elsewhere.

I recommend this accommodation to everyone! Very friendly staff who helps at any time of the day. Convenient location and developed infrastructure. Always clean and safe :) The view from the window is especially pleasing!
