Disgusting service and customer treatment and absolutely ruined all three of my items. I took three of my grandmothers silk and cashmere jumpers in to be dry cleaned. It was extremely expensive but I believed that was as a result of their great care and work. However, despite me telling them the fabric makeups and requesting great care with the sentimental items they ruined 2 cashmere and silk jumpers, leaving them rough, itchy and the fabric obviously incorrectly and carelessly laundered and then turned my final 100% silk beige top green! They took it back from me but still made me pay. Told me they would call me when it was sorted and I said I really didn’t want it bleached as the item was very important to me and it was a precious peace. They proceed to not call me for weeks, lie to me about it when I did call to follow up, make me return to store twice more and then returned it to me once again beige but ruined, shrunk and the silk absolutely ruined it is like cardboard now. When I asked to discuss it they were disgustingly rude, dismissive and even resorted to accusing me of turning it green myself despite it never leaving their store and LUCKILY me having images of me wearing the item days before it was laundered. Truly disgusting customer and item care. They are ridiculously priced and treated me and my items terribly. I wouldn’t usually leave a bad review but after my truly horrible experience I wouldn’t want others to have the same!

I have used Westgate Dry Cleaners since 2016 for several cloth repair and alteration jobs. The service is very efficient, offering a quick turnarround and modist pricing.My clothes policy has always been to buy quality and repair when needed rather than throwing away. This guy makes that a reality.

They are best for clothes in Canterbury and fairly good prices discounted

GREAT SERVICEWe put in a top bed quilt last year and we were impressed with the results, it was clean, brighter and smelt fresh and we had in back within a week (£18)This year we put in same quilt which had a few stains on it and again in came back perfectly cleaned and the stains removed (£25)We were so impressed that we put in another quilt a week later and again the service was excellent (£30)Whilst I appreciate that costs in general are rising I think the increase of over 38% in one year is making the service quite expensive

So impressed by these guys. Not only did they do a great job cleaning my items but they hemmed up one trouser leg which had come loose as part of the dry cleaning service for free!

Amazing service here. They replaced a jacket zip, excellent work. Highly recommended.

I had requested my jacket to be lengthened but instead of lengthening the sleeves they shortened it. When they did this they cut the original lining so couldn’t be lengthened back. Completely ruined my jacket and they refused to pay back the price of the jacket since I can no longer wear it.When I said the material had been cut the response I got was “how can you prove it”. Straight on the defensive and took no responsibility. Rude and unapologetic.

£25 quoted for one small load. They wash dry and fold for you. You could take the bus or walk across town to the very pleasant Cantebury Laundrette and do it yourself for 9.5
