We found this place last year, and were delighted to secure Seascape, a terraced cottage, with wonderful views out to sea. Beautiful dog friendly beach and few hidden gems to get decent food. We hada great stayand will return

Fishing venue for me there used to be bulk head lights fixed to the high wall but vandals smashed them there is a fine beach on the saltburn side of the jetty

Come walk the dog, take in a fresh North Sea breeze and enjoy the jetty, the mining headland and the relative peace of this rarely visited gem!

A tranquil walk along the pier with two fine beaches either side with long sandy strands. Also plenty of rock pools for the kids to explore, but make sure you know the tide times to avoid being cut off. Both beaches are a Mecca for dogs and even the fittest of dogs will go home tired. Don't go if you don't like dogs, there are loads of off lead dogs all the time. Do go if you want to tire out your pooch. Free parking and free wc's available.
