We have had a terrible experience with his hospital, cancelling two appointments now. These appointments were classed a urgent, but Respiratory Department do seem to be helping at all. If I could give less stars I would

New A&E is massive improvement as are the staff.Ward B2 has shown alot of improvement since a year ago, much more responsive staff.Ward C3 requires improvement, out dated facilities very run down, some really good 5☆staff, but alot of 2☆ staff. More empathy is needed regarding dementia care on C2.The Hospital itself is improving but better signage is required for those with Visual impairments as signage inside hospital clashes because of the colours and poor lighting.

Rude nurses they completely ignore you I was standing waiting to ask a question while 5 nurses were flirting with a male doctor sticking stickers on his arm while they were elderly people begging for a drink of water one man was crying because he was there 6 hours and wasn't offered a drink when he asked it took over a hour to get him one. This hospital needs looking into because they are failing sick patients

Over 10 hours from original A&E check in to transport to Scunthorpe on day one to be told another 7 hours with no transport home - day 2 back again another 8 hours with rude and uncaring staff, waiting room is more like a cattle yard and doctors and staff in general passing from person to person not knowing what’s actually wrong with you - ambulance crew more professional and trained seem to know more. This hospital is honestly becoming a joke and the staff seriously need retraining in manners and patient wellbeing.I’ve never in my life had this experience whilst here.Still don’t know the cause of my condition, sent me home and speak to GP and no medication for the weekend in case I get worse.Absolutely shocking

I was taken to the Er on sat 22/07/2023 after falling smashing my head open and breaking my leg from being greeted by the ambulance people and getting into the emergency department I cannot fault a single thing,.the ambulance crew were amazing, greeted by Jazxin in a and e., scans xrays the Porter was wonderful my family was welcomed. I was treated with dignity and respect, moved to orthopedic ward very quickly, the nursing staff on the ward were outstanding given the current situation that the health service is currently in and my stay was most pleasant, I cannot fault a single thing that happened to me on that day. I am at home now on the long road to recovery but I would just like to thank the hospital for their exceptional treatment of me during my stay

been waiting for ages to get checked out by doctor ,I had tonsillitis and very swollen throat, couldn't even breath or drink water , I cried and begged for help , nurses laughed in my face when I couldn't swallow medicine. All nurses are very rude and flirting with male doctors , haven't even checked on me . They look like they don't care about nothing, except money . Terrible experience with Grimsby a&e , won't go back there . I don't wish anyone this

31.08.23, I attended A.E today, was seen very quickly and assessed via triage, then sent to B1 for further assessment. From there to x-ray and back to BI .From initial attendance through to being released my treatment could not be faulted and I am extremely grateful for the care, courtesy and professionalism I received. Many thanks to you all.

I spent most of the day in A&E/SDEC today for various diagnostics, and I can honestly say I had a lovely day!! The whole place, ie all the staff, were absolutely wonderful - friendly, helpful and caring. I can't praise them enough and I am so grateful to everyone there. As a side note, they even brought round a basket of sandwiches to everyone in the waiting rooms at no cost. I don't know if this is standard practice in hospitals these days, but I have never heard of it before. The main hospital restaurant is also worth a mention, it's quite amazing the choice of food that is available. Hospitals seem to have come a long way since I last visited one!

Unfortunately i had a 5 day stay in the hospital but may i say from A&E to B2 ward and then C3 ward. Every single one of the Drs, Nurses, to the cleaning staff were just amazing. You all made my stay so much more bearable. You are all worth your weight in Gold. And then a week later i had an appointment with the pink rose clinic.... Again all the staff and the Consultant were lovely. So i would just like to say a big Thank you to all of you.
