I managed to find this garage on Google for my first car, couldn’t be happier. The team were really helpful finding me just what I wanted, the Ford Fiesta I bought was spotless and just serviced/MOT - very impressed will be recommending to friends and family.

This guy is a rogue trader sold me a car for £2000 pounds under solid motors endless problems ended up selling it to we buy any car for £200 pounds this is why he has changed his business name from solid motors to a and e motors because of the endless complaints. You have blocked me Simon so I can’t leave anymore comments I’m not bothered about going to trading standards just admit you sold me a knackered car under solid motors I’m right Simon your a rogue trader admit it !!!

I’m going to leave my honest review and give you my honest opinion.I brought a Ford s-max from these and the car looked amazing. It was prepped and ready to drive away and had everything we wanted in a car. The day we drove away from the garage we was very happy with our new purchase and was really looking forward to all our road trips. Unfortunately the 2nd day of owning the car we found a problem. After going to and from the garage so many times we seemed to be getting nowhere. There was lots of contact with the garage but there was never any help getting the car fixed so I took it to a main Ford dealership. Upon inspection it turns out they sold me a car with a broken gearbox and that it would cost thousands of pounds to put right. I did speak to a manager there but let’s just say he really needs to learn some customer service skills. I also spoke to a guy that claims to own the company and he was no help. Then I discovered that the garage is owned by someone that doesn’t even work there and probably doesn’t exist.In the end the finance company and the guy that helped with the finance finally managed to get them to take the car back and give me my old one back.For me I would never recommend this garage and would never return. If you want a good car then shop elsewhere. They might sell the odd good one but I’ve seen them sell a Porsche and someone bring it back and then for them to list it again at the same money plus I even drove the car and seen it had major issues. They are now selling the car I brought again for the same money and they haven’t even fixed the issues.

I’ve never experienced such rude & unprofessional service!Accused my partner of slamming a door and when he said he shut it not slammed it the guy asked him if he ‘wanted to start and argument about it?!’Then proceeded to say we were asking lots of questions!! Well, of cause I am going to ask questions about a car before buying it!!The car smelt of wet dog or damp and he tried telling me it was the smell of that particular make!! Really!!WOW!!!

Amazing service, part exchanged my car there for a new one. Seamless experience and the guys were so nice and helpful. I couldn’t be happier with my new car and I’m confident that they’re on hand if I need them.Will definitely use next time.
