I can not thank Heathfield Funeral Service enough for their compassion, support and guidance. Professional through and through. This has been a particularly difficult time and I have never had to negotiate my way through this whole process before. It’s overwhelming, but to have those who know the way, take some of the strain in a quiet and understated way allows one the confidence to trust that all will go perfectly. My husband had most of the necessary conversations but suggestions and guidance was always spot on and questions answered quickly and easily. Often the things we were fretting about were already in hand and taken care of. I can not recommend them highly enough and I will be forever grateful. I’m not surprised at the number of similar reviews here and all with 5 stars as is fitting for a 5 star service. Thank you.

We just wanted to say a massive heart felt thank you to David and his team for all the arrangements yesterday for my Mums funeral and of course yourself for all the preparations to make sure the day went smoothly.From the moment I called and enquired about using your services, you have been so professional, compassionate and honest about how best to lay our dear Mum to rest.David and his team were just so effortlessly professional and reassuring us at each point of the funeral and we all felt very comforted we were in good hands. Even to having a younger Pall Bearer at the front with Matthew was such a thoughtful thing to do, as I know that gave Matthew the confidence to carry his Nan. Thank you so much and I will highly recommend you to anyone in the area needing your services.

From the first tentative call to Wendy the service we received could not have been improved upon. My sister and I have, thankfully, only ever had to arrange one funeral before so you don’t know the detail of what has to happen when, and how long things take to get arranged. All their dealings with us were thoughtful and kind. They know the locals that need liasing with whether that is the Council regarding the graveyard or the Reverend and local organists. Everything was taken care of seamlessly. They also found all the right music and printed the order of service. When decisions were needed they were never hurried. No pressure but sensitive advice given if asked for. Arrangements were followed and they rang back with updates or information exactly when they said they would. That may seem like a small detail but the reassurance it provides is immeasurable.Our father was a stickler for detail and arrangements…perhaps the greatest compliment we as a family can give you is that he would have approved of everything!Thank you Wendy and please pass on our heartfelt thanks to your colleagues

Heathfield funeral services managed our twins funeral with the upmost respect, kindness and care and did absolutely everything to accommodate our wishes for our children. We highly recommend their genuine warmth, compassion and professionalism in a very difficult time. We didn’t have to stress or worry about anything because it was all taken care of very well and we would without doubt recommend their services, and a special thanks to Wendy.

Heathfield Funeral Service were excellent. From the very first call, Wendy provided an efficient yet supportive service, gently guiding me through what needed to be organised. Always so kind and comforting at the times I needed it the most. Everything was organised so that I didn't have to worry and the day ran smoothly, every small detail being taken care off. It was the send off we envisaged and I am so grateful to have chosen Heathfield Funeral Service as they made the whole process 'easy' at a very difficult time. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Heathfield Funeral Services for their wonderful care and attention they showed for our dads funeral Mr. Alan Weller on Friday 11th February. From the very first contact with Wendy at the Heathfield office and right through to Clare who looked after us on the day we could not have had a better service. Excellent communication throughout and always treated with compassion , understanding and patience all the way through.
