We had a lovely family lunch. We chose the Toby carvery and the food was excellent. Loads of choice of meat and vegetables. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great service. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend. Thank you.

Food and ambience was great. 11 of us went and one of our group had the carvery then sticky toffee pudding only to find out when the bill came that this dessert is not included in the £11.29 2 course lunch deal. Apart from that the experience was very enjoyable, we'll be back next month.

Thank you so much for a fabulous occasion. I booked for a table of 13 but there were 15 of us on the day, plus a baby in high chair. staff quickly adjusted to accommodate us. The waitress(Kazz) was so attentive and patient with my son Greg who has downs syndrome. She took extra care to understand his difficult speech and make sure he had everything he needed. This made a very special occasion extra special. Thank you. I will be back.

Very nice carvery with a choice of 5 meats (but you actually only pick 3) and plenty of vegetables, stuffing, gravy and potatoes etc. If you're still hungry you can go back for more. The lady who took our order was so friendly and helpful as we hadn't been here before. It was very busy - we just turned up on Sunday around 6 - but we were able to be seated no problem. Would return without hesitation if we're in the area.

We run a local charity and wanted to take our volunteers out for a Christmas meal to thank them for all their hardwork and efforts throughout the year. We decided to book the Carvery and right from the initial phonecalls they couldn't be more accomodating for us even though there were 30 in our party. When we arrived we were met and seated by our server Laura who was not only kind and friendly, she was also able to help us with any issues we had. We had a fantastic meal, in a brilliant setting and we all had a wonderful time. First time here even though I've lived local for years. This place is huge! Very well presented and maintained, clean, tidy and a warm atmosphere.We had a carvery, and we did have to wait 20 minutes in the queue, but this was by far the best carvery we've had in years. The meat was succulent and as fresh as it gets. The veg was mostly great, some dried cabbage but they were very busy. The gravy was flavorful too, and the portion sizes were spot on. The Yorkshire's were huge.All in all a great evening meal, and it's easy to get vouchers for money off. Meerkat movies, blue light card etc. Fantastic value for what you are getting.The staff were very polite too.This place will be amazing to visit during the holidays!Well done Toby Carvery!

The carvery was first class all vegetable were cooked to perfection, the choice and quality of all the ingredients were excellent.The only improvement I would say was the plate were barely warm.

We came in during lunch rush on a wet Saturday afternoon. We were greeted immediately and to our pleasant surprise a table was available immediately.We sat in a booth which had plenty space for six of us, and took our places in the food queue. The queue was large (it was a Saturday afternoon after all), but it moved quickly and we were served courteously and quickly.The meat was all fresh and cooked well, servings were generous. The vegetables and sides were all fresh and full. All very impressive for how busy it was. I have to commend the kitchen team for this.The food was great and our table was cleared quickly once we had finished. Our server, Logan then offered the option of pudding, Logan was an excellent server and was friendly and informative and helped in the inevitable difficult dessert decisions.The pudding was incredible, I had a cheesecake with freshly whipped cream, which I found as a nice surprise compared to the normal aerosol cream which is served as a substitute. We left happy and full, and for great value - nothing could have been better today than a visit to Toby at Trentham.If you're looking for friendly service and excellent food and value. Look no further than here.
