Pleasant venue but overpriced veggie options. The portion size for the creamed corn and sweet potato (pictured) was very small for £15. Nice chips but I had finished my meal before they arrived so that seems like poor planning in the kitchen.Very nice mojitos though they’re not very standardised as two of us got different styles.Outdoor seating is nice but those of us indoors didn’t appreciate the cigarette smoke wafting in from outside.Probably wouldn’t go back unless just for a drink but there are plenty of other nice places nearby.

Great food and good drinks selection. Beautiful plating. The calamari was cooked perfectly (one of the best ones we've had) and the chorizo was equally good. The vibe was laidback, cosy, and a welcome break from the heat outside. I honestly wanted to give a 5-star rating except that the bar staff could use a smile or two. It was such a lovely day and we greeted her smiling but she probably was having a bad day and was quite abrupt that it didn't feel welcoming. Or it could be just her personality. I don't know but it did make my husband and I feel a bit uncomfortable. We always put a premium on professional, friendly service and our experience in that department today was, sadly, disappointing. I sincerely hope that she's ok. She really looked unhappy. The other staff, to be fair, were very friendly and helpful.

Had a sharer roast, needed a bigger table but staff were very proactive and lovely. I was impressed with the value and the location is great. The staff were all fab!

Food was good taste wise. However, the portion size of the vegetarian sweet potato and corn dish was embarrassing small for £15. The chicken pie was a good size for same price. Service, although friendly, was lacking and they forgot to bring our £5 small cup of chips.

We came with two other friends to share a roast, everything was delicious! The lady who served us was really friendly, luckily we were also sat next to the fireplace, so cosy down there... would definitely recommend !

Good selection of beers and wine. The staff were friendly and helped create the atmosphere. We enjoyed people watching out the window, and sitting in the side area downstairs, unfortunately the garden was a bit too smoky for comfort.

A lovely pub with a great selection of items on the menu mostly. It's dog friendly which was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did come a little later on a Sunday to have a roast with family. As a vegan I was very impressed with the starter of Chipotle Chilli Corn Falafel amazing flavours and tastes. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a vegan nut roast, it did let down the experience as I had to have a typical burger instead. I can't imagine it would be that hard considering its veggie to make it vegan and just remove the items that aren't e.g. Yorkshire pudding. In fairness the burger was very nice and the pudding was amazing, a lovely surprise to get a good pudding as a vegan which was more of a surprise around the lack of a vegan roast. My girlfriend who had the roast said it was lovely only that the potatoes were a little rubbery but as I say we came a little later on a Sunday so imagine they were a little old by that point. All in all a great place to go that caters for most.
