On arrival staff were very welcoming with all covid precautions followed.Was seated by the window which was nice, plenty of light which created a relaxing atmosphere.Drinks were offered very quickly and I chose the totally tropical cocktail which was delicious with the right ratio of ingredients.Starter I went for the calamari which was cooked to perfection crispy and hot.Mains was the classic mixed grill medium rare for myself which I have to say was just right.Dessert happened to be banoffee pie which wasn't too sweet and a nice addition to the meal.Fairly priced, clean and welcomingOverall a really nice meal out.

We were looking for a place to stop for a quick bite, Google places close by, and found this place. What a catch.The four of us were very satisfied with the food and service.I ordered the Rib eye steak with potatoes. It was very tasty and cooked perfectly. My son had the cheese burger, which he ate so fast, enjoying every bite.My husband had the Middletons burger, and it was a success!Our fourth companion had the mushroom burger and she said it was the best burger she had !So yes, we definitely recommend this place. Enjoy!

Good quality food, good service. However we visited on the jubilee bank holiday at 8pm and the place was very empty. Not always a good sign. 3 course meal was enjoyed. One big objection I have a 10% serviced charge was added to the bill automatically and you have to ask this to be taken off. I feel you shouldn’t have to do this. If you wish to leave a tip for good service then that is your choosing and not forced upon you. If the employer pays their employees good salaries then service charge shouldn’t be added. After all we as customers are keeping you in business.

Lovely food steaks cooked just as asked for. Although onion rings were over cooked, could not get my fork into them. Attentive staff, very nice young man who served us. Also not advised on service charge which cost us £10.63 and not aware of this we left £10 tipp. Not used to this charge in this area. With this in mind we probably will not be going back. Shame.

Service was good kind staff. The food how ever, was very disappointing. Have eaten in this restaurant 4 or 5 times in the 6 weeks because it is normally good. Tonight it was awful. Prawns I am sure we're deep fried and way over cooked not edible. My wife had sea food platter fish was over cooked the prawnsin the shell should be pink to orange colour. Nope these were again inedible and black. No apology for my review, was told head chef was off Not good enough it shows junior chefs are not learning. As meat fish should be cooked with love and passion. Very poor

Quiet for a Saturday. Service was quick and efficient. Food lovely, apart from the sundae. There was too much whipped cream and not a lot else. It was a fixed price menu dessert, but expected better.
