Customer service was terrible, except for a few staff that were exceptional.and tried to help us. Family room was booked, but we're put in a tight room as the air con was faulty. Should have been like for like. With 3 small children including a 2 year old this was extremely difficult

Bad start having to wait dead on time at 3:00pm to check in. After driving for four hours. Some people had been waiting for a couple of hours after traveling for over six hours. Some rules are to be used as a guide especially when people are saying for a week. Good customer service would have been to let people check in sooner rather than lots of people waiting around the reception area.On a positive note the breakfast was great and plenty of choice and as much as you want. The staff were very helpful and polite. good car parking and reasonable prices at the bar. ***

Polite and helpful staff. Seemed a little understaffed at times. Great Chefs- catered for allergies. Room 904 needs an aircon revamp as it is poor. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Thankyou.

Negatives:1. Awful welcome at the hotel. Nobody to guide you. Nobody at the reception to help you with anything. After ringing the reception bell twice, somebody came out to let us know that we were expected to wait for 13mins or pay £10 at 2:47 because check in starts only at 3pm.2. On the day of our check-out, our room key automatically got disabled at 11:30am, when check-out is at 12pm. Had to go down to the reception thrice from floor 8 as staff could not fix the issue. We told them that we’d need 5-10 minutes extra to check out because of this mess and got told to “hurry up” and still no apology on their part.Positives:1. Decent rooms2. Great location of the hotel

We have just returned from a 2 night stay and can not fault the service, the cleanliness of the room or the location. We just wanted 2 nights away with our 10 year old daughter by the coast. To start with the booking system was simple and easy and I received a confirmation email almost straight away.We were greeted by a helpful and friendly member of staff who explained everything fully. We parked the car in their secure car park underneath and then headed to our room. We were greeted by a very clean and fully functional spacious family room for the 3 of us with. As it was quite late we headed down to their restaurant and throughly enjoyed our freshly cooked pizza's and burgers. Then headed back to the room for a comfy night's sleep. We awoke the next morning and experienced the most excellent extensive breakfast with everything you could want, which set us up perfectly for the day ahead. To check out we simply drop the keys in the box and headed home. The whole premises were clean and tidy and we will definitely be going back for our next weekend break at Bournemouth.I would like to pay particular thanks to the restaurant staff Alessia, Andrea and Alix who at times had to attend to the most rude and disrespect people, but remained very professional throughout. They were very friendly and interacted with my daughter making her feel very special for her first stay in a hotel.

Use this hotel for business, and many other Premier Inns across the country. Having worked since 5:00am that morning and not managed to get a meal all day (for various reasons) I arrived at this hotel at 8:52pm…only to be told that the restaurant had closed at 8:45pm!! I was offered no alternative (sandwich, toast, local pizza/Chinese…nothing)!!I’d usually expect Dinner availability to finish around 9:30pm in quiet rural areas…but 8:45pm in mid-summer in Bournemouth!! That’s just ridiculous and lazy.Well at least the chef got an early finish, bet they went out for a nice meal somewhere!!

Great hotel inbetween Bournemouth and Boscombe. Underground parking is £7 for 24 hours and easy to find. The hotel was great value considering it's location, the pier with its restaurants and bars is a 15 minute walk away. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. Decent buffet breakfast.

A rather well presented Premier Inn with larger and well designed family rooms higher up in the tower. Being that high up with large windows, the views aren't bad during sun set and sun rise. The Aircon wasn't very good, but getting such warm weather is a rarity.Car parking is a bit strange but not bad at all as it's indoors and access controlled. But it is chargeable.Good attention to detail from the staff around guest needs. The downstairs bar / kitchen is one of the nicer ones but has limited seating, so be aware when the hotel is particularly busy. The bar has beer on tap and seems to have a good atmosphere in the evenings.

I have removed my previous review and am updating to a fresh one for a new experience.Having previously stayed here I specifically chose this Premier Inn because I had a reasonably positive stay the last time. What I will say is that Alex is the most memorable member of staff at this place (for the right reasons for a customer) and I thank him for his polite, professional and prompt check in. It goes downhill from there.I had a table booked at 20:10 for an evening meal after being on the road since 09:30. Arrived at 20:10 - told I had no table booked and to come back in 20 minutes. Okay, went back to my room, had a beer and then came back down. Arrived at 20:30 dead on and was taken to a table with only half the cutlery present. Fine, rectified. I then sat at my table (extremely hungry having been driving for 11 hours) until 20:49 when someone finally acknowledged me to take an order. I wasn’t offered a drink in this time at all. 100% p*as poor service you wouldn’t expect at a hostel.

Stuffy hot room. You can’t open the windows. The air con only goes to 19 degrees and turns itself off after a short time. Duvets are heavy. So have had two sleepless nights in a hot stuffy room. Never again.
