Travelled as a couple in June and September 2022.We booked our holiday with Rosa from The Italian Connection. Our trip began with a visit to Cinque Terre and Lake Como in June 2022, followed by a trip to the Amalfi Coast in September 2022.Rosa did an excellent job putting together both trips and fulfilling our wishes for a memorable experience. Due to Rosa’s knowledge of the area and hotels, we felt like all the accommodation choices were perfect for us.Rosa also arranged a driver during our visit to the Amalfi coast. Our driver was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He was very open to what ever we wanted to do and happy to accommodate us.Highly recommend Rosa from The Italian Connection, We couldn't have asked for a more perfect trip.

A delightfully arranged trip with guides all round. The old centre of Palermo was eye-catching, and the Doric Bed & Breakfast in Agrigento was a fabulous boutique hotel overlooking the valley of The Temples. Siracusa was a great finish. Thanks Rosa.

It was our Golden Wedding Anniversary in August and we wanted to celebrate with a trip to Italy particularly Lake Garda, we approached The Italian Connection & Spirito Italiano for hotel suggestions and places to stay, Rosa expanded our thoughts combing three nights in Verona and an evening at the opera in the wonderful roman amphitheatre, we are not opera goers but the experience was amazing, Rosa took on board our bespoke requirements and professionally tailored our holiday to suit including booking flights, three transfers and accommodation, we had nothing to do except just turn up! We wanted to book a holiday to Italy at very short notice. Not knowing exactly where and what to book we approached several bespoke holiday agents.Rosa at the Italian Connection contacted us, noted down our general thoughts and came back very quickly with a range of options to select from.This was by far the quickest, most detailed and efficient response we received. It matched our budget, chosen selection of airport, car hire and type of accommodation including some special considerations for my mobility issues. We had no hesitation selecting Rosa to be our agent.After choosing our options, the formal details were confirmed and deposit/balance payments sorted and all done remotely.At this stage, we got electronic copies of everything we needed from flight boarding cards (both ways), car hire and car insurance, accommodation vouchers and ATOL / ABTA details. She also sent us a bespoke itinerary containing lots of general and local information specific for our holiday – even including which wines to try.Happy to say the holiday was brilliant. We’ll definitely go back to Rosa for our next booking!

Rosa organized a fantastic two week trip to three different parts of Italy; Tuscany, Florence and Lake Maggiore. Great hotels in all locations, excellent tours, and private transfer arrangements. All three areas are brilliant in different ways and we are so grateful to Rosa and The Italian Connection for arranging everything so well.
