The owner either should retire or go and find a job he likes because he's a rude person who threatened to rip my face off" just because I wanted to pay by credit card.Avoid this shop. Interesting to see that I'm not the only one that has been on the end of his temperI guess I should pity him. I do actually. It must be horrid sitting behind that counter all day whilst trying to be nice to people. By people I mean customers who come to spend money in his shop which provides food for his table.Still he's done me a favour I guess as I'll never set foot in the place again. If the owner responds to this it will be a lot of lies so be warned."

A good dose of customer service training is required here after several incorrect parts were sold. Three trips back to the shop to be told ‘at your age you need to listen’ . Blatant rudeness is not what anybody needs when trying to shop for the right parts for a DIY job. So much for supporting local business … I won’t be putting a penny your way again Ex Lax.

Roy Is a nice man you can have a laugh and a joke with him and if he don’t sell it then, you probably don’t need it. He will try and get something for you if you want

Great local DIY shop, holds a surprisingly large range of stock for a small shop.Popped by this afternoon for an internal door handle, and ended up buying a wide array of other bits and pieces too (in typical DIY fashion!).Staff are friendly and helpful, prices are very reasonable and cheaper than B&Q on many products.Plenty of parking nearby too. Will definitely be back again, cheers!

The owner’s attitude and customer service is shocking, he accused my partner of stealing a paddling pool and banned him from the shop and said he knew where we lived just over the road. My partner never stole anything and we don’t live over the road. He’s got a disgusting attitude the way he talks to people and treats people.

Worth no stars, rude and ignorant seller, maybe you should google what shoe glue is . Went in try to get a glue to repair a minor issue on the shoe, told me shoe glue doesn’t exist in the whole uk just ridiculous. You can just say you don’t sell. And ask people put shoes in the bin if they need repair . What a joke

Don’t shop here!!! The owners attitude is disgusting!! Went in for a washer with my father in law.. met with sarcastic undertones, attitude and mocking !! When challenged he told me I have been here over 35 years!! And to p*** off out of the shop!! I certainly won’t be supporting this local shop again!! Off to Bandq and wicks!! Also put this on social media!! This shop needs to be closed down!!!Check the post on next-door neighbour Cradley !! Over 50 negative responses about this place!! Passing the word around about this place
