Cuckoo Down Farm Glamping
We had a lovely 4 nights at Cuckoo Down Farm Glamping. The tent (Poppy) was fantastic - comfortable and warm (with the woodburner) with well thought-out layout and facilities. Our (teenaged) kids loved playing in the field and helping to build fires (without the distractions of screens!) They particularly enjoyed the hot-tub too. Overall the setting was beautiful and the location was great for exploring the local area. With so much to do, we're sure to come back. Thanks to Becky (and John - who we didn't get to meet) for being such great hosts!

A family holiday - 5 adults and 5 children ( aged 4 to 16 years ) and two dogs had a wonderful long weekend break - maximised all the facilities, inside and outside 2 spacious safari tents. A wonderful peaceful setting. Saw a barn owl two days running - magical. Explored the surrounding countryside. A worthwhile visit to Sidmouth.Becky and John were excellent hosts from the outset - very informative information pack emailed before our visit and a very warm welcome on arrival setting out all the practical arrangements for guests. Becky went an extra mile - posted an expensive new jacket left behind by one of our guests. Thank you Becky and John.

An amazing glamping location and facility for our family holiday. We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the BlackBerry Tent this June for a week. The attention to detail from the practicality of kitchen equipment right through to the small details of bunting around the beds, luxury bedding and towels plus other decorations made it a real pleasure. Even the compost loo was well maintained and decorative. The location is awesome with so much to do nearby with children, we needed more time, especially as we also wanted time to just spend together in the tranquility of the site with the hot tub, campfire, veranda with lots of safe space for our 2 year old to play. Will definitely go back back and have already recommended to friends.

Just had our second visit and stayed in safari tent with hot tub this time. We loved it just as much as the first time. So much I just wanted review again. Becky and her team are lovely and genuinely nice people. The safari tent is a good size and has a shower which you access via a undercover deck. We visited with friends who were in the neighbouring tent. We had a great time and there was enough room around the table on the deck to all eat together. The children had tons of fun on the field playing with outdoor toys that we brought. It just gives them the freedom they don't get at home. In the evenings we all sat around the fire to toast marshmallows and we even had a couple of games of rounders.Just had our first stay and had a really lovely time. Its such a welcoming site. We stayed in yurt which was very pretty and the kitchen had everything we needed. My son loved having a pony ride and feeding the chickens and collecting their eggs. It's such a lovely natural place where as a family you get to watch your children have adventures. Either by running round the field or having a paddle in the stream. It's very thought out with personal touches by the owners and you come home feeling how wish you could just stay there. What more can you want from a holiday than that feeling?

We stayed in the BlackBerry tent back in August. It was the 1st time we had been glamping and we were not disappointed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The solar panel lights were an unexpected added bonus. The wood fired hot tub was so relaxing. The tent was clean and tidy, beds and lining was very comfortable. We had an issue with our shower which John fixed by late afternoon. The stream and woods were another fantastic bonus. It really was a perfect family holiday. Becky and John were perfect host's.

This was our first Glamping trip and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in Blackberry Safari Tent at Cuckoo Down Farm and were really impressed with how clean and well equipped the tent was. The kids loved the cabin bed and the wood fired hot tub - we couldn't keep them out of it! The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas fired shower was a real bonus! Even the compost loo was beautifully presented(!!) with pretty furnishings and reed diffuser to mask the less pleasant smells. The tent overlooked a lovely grassy meadow with only 3 other tents and 1 yurt, so it felt private and secluded. We could sit out on the veranda to eat dinner in the setting sun and admire the lovely views. The beds and linen were really comfortable and the blackout blinds meant that the children (and us!) didn't wake up until 8am at the earliest - bonus! Becky and John were very friendly and helpful and ensured that our stay was comfortable and that nothing was amiss. We thoroughly recommend this site for a truly memorable, magical family holiday.

A wonderful experience from beginning to the end. Great camping experience without any hassles. Very comfortable and warm. Outdoor kitchen was well equipped. Space for campfire. Hot showers. Wood fireplace was well stocked and kept us warm in the night. Fridge storage and charging available at the parking station.Children: I like this tent as it was very nice, cozy and warm. The bed were really comfy and gave me nice sleep. The shower heated up quickly. They provided many nice things and even board games to play.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Cuckoo Down Farm. We have two boys aged 7 & 5 and the site was perfect for them, so much space to play and lots to explore, they loved it in the woods.Becky and John were great hosts and provided a really informative pack prior to arrival which was fantastic for planning our week and knowing what facilities we're provided in the tent.Would definitely recommend.
