Want to say thank you so much to everyone at Dogsnhomes, we have gained the most wonderful dog called Dumbo. Michelle and Gary are amazing, they listen, offer advice and trust you to look after one of their dogs. Dumbo has settled in well, loves a cuddle and a play with a toy. Can not wait to get to know him even more. Thank you.

We decided we wanted a rescue pup and came across dognhomes. After looking into it, we felt it's a great charity. Gary, Michelle and the team in Portugal are really good at what they do and take great care of the pups. We adopted Bruno - Kieran and loved we were able to keep track of his journey on the Happy bus. He is settling in well

If you are looking for a new dog and want to opt for a rescue you can’t do better than here. It was clear from the first day we had her, that our puppy Bonnie (at 4 months) had been cared for incredibly well. She was confident, great with other dogs, affectionate and was already used to being handled. She has quickly become part of the family.Gary and Michelle provide great advice from the start, will explain how the charity works and how they focus on finding good homes for dogs where they know the dog will be right for you. Their support has been fantastic and there is a wider support network of others that have been through the journey already.We’ve had a dog before but he wasn’t a rescue so I have to admit to having some reservations about how it might be. I shouldn’t have worried for a moment. The way the pups are cared for and selected meant Bonnie adjusted incredibly fast, is wonderful with other dogs or people when she meets them and was sleeping through the night pretty much straight away.A huge thank you to the DogsnHomes team for looking after Bonnie so well.

If you’re looking to save a life and get your next companion, we can’t recommend Dognhomes Rescue enough. Gary and Michelle were easily contactable and answered all our questions and queries and were transparent and very informative about the whole process. As a result we got a beautiful, friendly and healthy puppy two months after first contacting them. Our vet was very impressed with the number of tests our puppy undertook prior to the arrival and the paperwork the charity provided. Gary and Michelle continued to support us after the adoption and provided us with valuable tips on training and general wellbeing. We’re very grateful for the whole Dogsnhomes team for our beautiful bundle of joy and we’re looking forward to meeting other adopters and the team on the next Dognhomes walk! Hanna, Bruno &Gaia

Gary and Michelle (and all the DogsnHomes volunteers) were excellent when we adopted our new dog Elfie.They went to every length to give us all the information we needed about her, explained in detail how their charity works, and the background of their dogs. When we collected Elfie, she and the other dogs were playing nicely in a spacious, safe and clean environment.They are doing fantastic work and both me and my partner would highly recommend them. :)

Amazing charity. Thoroughly checked us when adopting our beautiful rescue dog. Also gave lots of great tips to help us get us him settled. Gary & Michelle are passionate about helping the dogs and put their all into the charity. Highly recommend this charity. We got our beautiful dog, Paolo. Gary & Michelle offered excellent help & advice to help us settle Paolo into our home.

We adopted a lovely dog called Raider from this charity in March. I highly recommend this charity. The dogs have very obviously been so well looked after before they got to us. All the team at Dogsnhomes were lovely to deal with and so knowledgeable. We now have a new family member who we couldn't love more. Thank you so much Dogsnhomes!!!

DogsnHomes are just the most amazing charity! We would never look elsewhere for rescuing a dog again.We recently lost our 16 year old rescue (who we had since a puppy of 8 weeks) and spent a LOT of time researching different rescues. We came across DogsnHomes and we were so pleased we did!From the very user friendly website to the initial contact with Gary & Michelle at DogsnHomes it was so clear that their focus were the dogs. The dogs ALWAYS come first.The checks made were thorough and were to make sure that whatever home the pups are placed with is the best fit for the dog and an environment that will allow them to live their best lives. It just made it even more clear to us we had made the right choice.The information provided for the imminent new arrival was exceptional. So thorough and useful. Especially to new dog owners. Lots of help and advice throughout the process and beyond. Once the dogs are handed over there is plenty of support available.The Happy Bus including being able to track your puppies journey from Portugal just made the experience more exciting.The collection process was seamless and stress free for all involved.Shona (Violet) has settled in amazingly well - this is due to the incredible amount of effort put in by the wonderful fosterers in Portugal.Thankyou to all the volunteers and Gary & Michelle - our family is complete.
