Thorp House

If I needed a nursing home this would be where I would like to be.on looking around the home for my mother that needs nursing care I was made welcome on the off and felt that the staff have a lovely attitude towards their residents that live in the home. There was no odour as I walked around the home and the décor that is being updated looked lovely.

I have visited an old neighbour several times over the past few months he was very reluctant to go in but had several falls he is mentally with it and needed companionship I was always greeted pleasantly and made welcome I found the home to be of a very high standard in care diets cleanliness and very impressed with all the activities they do it they have gone out of there way to help settle my neighbour getting him involved as he is quite alert the staff will do anything to hep the residents to be comfortable too I am a retired nurse and used to have my own nursing home hence I know what criteria’s have to be met well done everyone especially Marcia activities manager she works wanders with them
