We needed new scaled drawings in preparation of a new planning application and Rob from Darcy Architects was friendly, responsive, professional and did a brilliant job. The drawings are excellent, absolutely spot on, and he managed to produce these very quickly, which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend Darcy Architects!

We worked with Rob on a garage conversion and small extension with a view to having an open plan kitchen, dining and seating area and large boot room. Outstanding! We cannot thank Rob at Darcy Architects enough for his ideas, work and care he put into our plans for a loft conversion. We needed everything done fairly quickly following urgent repairs to our roof and first floor ceiling. Rob communicated with us throughout each part of the process keeping us fully informed, answering all our questions and queries and making sure we got the outcome we wanted. He even supported us with finding suppliers to make the conversion the most cost effective. Everything was done right to be passed first time. His knowledge was outstanding, he considered all aspects within the conservation area and the accuracy of his work and drawings were highly praised by our local planning office. Rob helped us greatly as our architect for our residential project to convert a garage into a habitable space. We're really pleased with the designs, and how we were engaged with as part of the process. Rob also took the time to answer a myriad of questions we had too, which was greatly appreciated.

I asked Rob for help with designing a single storey extension. I already had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted, and Rob was brilliant at translating that into a workable design; suggesting additional elements, and adding carefully thought out details to bring out the beauty of the finished product. It really felt like a collaborative process - Rob completely understood my vision and worked with that to produce a design that fully satisfied the brief. As the house is on the Bournville Village Trust (BVT), there were certain visual requirements that needed to be adhered to, and Rob thoughtfully incorporated these into the design (e.g. adding a faux garage door) ensuring that the functionality of the extension wasn't compromised, whilst the design was sympathetic to the period of the house and to its surroundings.Rob also dealt with planning permission, building regs, structural engineer input, and BVT approval.I would definitely recommend his work to anyone considering an extension or renovation; I'm absolutely delighted with the finished product!
