Peugeot dealership review.I was interested in a E-2008. I had an appointment booked with Layton. He was so rude. He could not be bothered. He looked and acted like he didn’t want to take us out. Our test drive if that’s what you can call it was all of 10 mins. We had about 5 mins each. I never drove above 40. When I explained what I didn’t like he told me I was wrong it was right for everyone else. He has just lost a sale. I would never step foot in there again. Total waste of time now I need to go to Peugeot in Derby.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GARAGE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!IF YOU ARE BUYING FROM A DISTANCE THEN DO NOT ASSUME WHAT THEY SAY IS RIGHT OR CORRECT.They treat you badly, they have no respect for you as a customer, you don’t feel valued, upon entering the dealership I was dealt with in an aggressive fashion by a front desk service advisor. I only asked if they could help. OMG!They didn’t prepare my purchased vehicle properly, they didn’t clean it, paintwork was very dull, interior was filthy, engine bay was absolutely filthy. Speed limiter left on, tracking was out.Also they very rarely answer the phone, head office call centre staff when they eventually answer don’t speak to you with any respect and don’t do what they say they are going to do!All I wanted was to be dealt with politely, respectfully and to buy a car that was described accurately, yet again another main dealer cannot even get the basics right.WHY DON’T YOU JUST DO YOUR JOBS PROPERLY FIRST TIME, STOP TREATING CUSTOMERS LIKE THE ENEMY. THEN WATCH HOW SMOOTHLY EVERYTHING GOES!

I am posting this review on behalf of my partner who has just bought a Peugeot 508 GT from Pentagon. As we are from Carlisle she purchased the car online and via telephone which was easy to do, and she was kept well informed of progress by Ian the salesman.As this was a Peugeot approved car we expected it would of gone through rigorous checks, but, on the drive back to Carlisle the air-con was not working and when looking round the car at home we discovered several paint work blemishes (which my partner had requested that any 'scuffs' or 'blemishes' would be rectified) one in particular on the offside cill needs professional attention.All in all, the service we received by Ian was good, just a shame to be let down by the defects on the car.
