Wednesday night is pie night and they were fantastic. You have to prebook which means your pie is ready soon as you arrive

We stayed here last night, booked all 4 rooms as we were attending my son’s wedding at Brooksby.We met and 4 of us had lunch in the restaurant, meals were beautiful, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.The rooms were beautiful, nicely decorated and furnished.There was scaffolding being put up but we had been advised of this prior to our stay and given the option to cancel, however, this was not a problem.Mark, Louise and staff were great and i would thoroughly recommend both eating and staying here.Thank you

Friendly, classy, with exceptional food and a great atmosphere. Cannot recommend this pub enough. It is immaculately clean, everything feels fresh but they’ve kept all the beautiful original features. We’ve recently been for Sunday dinner which really was fantastic, and held my fathers wake at the Cheney which went perfectly. Can’t thank the owners enough for their hospitality. Gorgeous village and enough space outside for the children to run around and play. 5 stars!

It's a lovely country pub, the meal was top notch at a very fair price. We went on a friday early evening and it was a great atmosphere, staff where all good too. We will be going back on a wednesday sometime soon for pie night.

A very nice village pub/restaurant we stumbled across whilst on a diversion. Well priced 1 beer, 2 j2os, 1 coke, 2 packets of crisps and scampi fries...£15.Would definitely eat here if we pass again.

Very nice country pub in a fantastic setting good selection of beers , didnt have food but the menu looked good we will definitely go back again to try the food
