Asda Dundee West Superstore

The range has been reduced drastically the availability of products is very poor. Not enough tills open, far to much reliance on self-service tills, which if you pay cash pump out a tone of change. The used to be a great shop....it is just awful now. I won't be back

This store is huge and pretty much has whatever you need for anything. Every time I've been, it has been clean and fully stocked.

Fix your prices guys.This is second time in two weeks I have been charged wrongly.One price on the shelf, another when on the till. I couldn't noticed at the moment as had many tems to scan and wouldn't remember all the prices.This issues didn't exist before, also how come the price at the till doesn't show less than the one on the shelf. But it's always more.I can't afford come back and forth all the time, but a pound from me,bfrom another customer and another and here it go, the directors got themselves another Ferrari.

I always stop here on the way back down the road from visiting family. It always has good availability and is keenly priced. My only gripe and the reason for 4 stars is that your fuel used to be the cheapest on my way down the road but the local independent stations I've seen where I'm from are cheaper.

I'm an Asda regular from Grangemouth. This is a good store. I popped in on way to work. I was assisted by a delightful employee called Queenie at the basket self paying area. So helpful, humorous and enthusiastic. A lady from the the Philippines. A credit to Asda! Great customer service. Thanks.

Yesterday, was Friday. 4.45 pm. The self checkout tills are working. However, a ten pound note got stuck inside and did not register. The staff were incompetent and a service manager came after a long wait. Just to say to pay through alternative means or leave the shopping. But, they cannot refund.The bizzare customer service attitude and victomizing a single person on the shop floor was abhorent.The store manager could not check the security camera there and then nor look into the electronic till much to the dismay of the customer. There was no feedback form given or logged officially.So, evidently its brushed off under the carpet.No other Asda store I know operates in this ludicrous manner.After putting a ten pound note and a five pound note in the machine. There was no one technical to over ride the issues.After much deliberation the five pound note came put the ten pound note got stuck and the entire transaction got cancelled by itself and time wasted and intimidation.No. The customer is never right in capitalism mode of production.Think about it ~ what was a ten pound refund from the customer service till for a multi million stock pile.Anyways, I got the ten pound note back at 6.30pm. But, I visited the store twice. It cost me twice in petrol no compensation.Nothing. Think twice before going there.This was my first visit.It was shocking!I give the store two stars because I got my money back and I do not agree with their method of customer refund and technical staff problems and arrogance.Its important to check the bill. You can pay the wrong or higher amount even though the operation is automated but sadly too automated that the store may need robots because humans cant solve simple problems.

Excellent supermarket.So much choice at reasonable prices.Lots of stock

Good friendly staff especially Tina on the cigarette/lottery desk. Went in sandwiches and drinks. Toilets are clean and well stocked. Trolleys do not need a token or £1 which is handy.
