My Father, who is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. He also has Parkinson’s (undiagnosed).What can I say about Craig, he’s absolutely AMAZING. He connected with Dad on a totally different level. The care and understanding he has show towards Dad is second to none. He’s managed to get Dad doing things that we thought he’d never be able to do again. Craig left us with recommendations and instructions on how to get Dad moving easier and how to reduce the stiffness.Thank you so much Craig for giving us new ways of communicating with Dad, we thought we’d lost that part of life.

I needed an appointment with an OT specialistAnd going through the NHS I was going to have to wait many months for an appointmentI found Craig on the internet and he came out to see me really quickly yes I had to pay but it was worth every pennyHe looked around the property we lived in and did a good assessment of my needs and my situationI have arthritis in my hips, shoulders and a back injury from my time working for the nation coal board i also have angina the property I lived in had a bath and I was struggling to get in and out of the bathAlso at the same time my mother in law needed more and more attention with her daily needsHe personally contacted my local housing authority as well as gave me a written letterQuite quickly I was rehoused with a 2 bedroom bungalow with a wetroomLife now is so much easier no in and out of the bath, no back and to as the mother in law now lives with usCraig works for the NHS as well as doing OT at weekends he is very knowledgeable, friendly and will help as best he can

My father took a turn for the worse and had a few falls, he wasn’t taking of himself as well as he used to. I was worried as he was on his own most of the day as myself and family had other commitments and was unable to provide continual support. I contacted Craig for advice. He was prompt in returning my call and in arranging a home visit.My father really warmed to his genuine personality and professional approach, upon Craig’s advice we made some changes to the house to prevent further falls, and had a package of care arranged to provide help with washing and meals.With Craig’s help my father was able to remain at home with minimal support for another 9 months at a time when we were considering a rest home.I cannot rate Craig’s services highly enough, I knew my dad was in good hands and would recommend North West OT ServicesJeff Knight
