I worked for them in devon , my manger was one of the best in my career of 30 years , The job leaves you to work a lot on your own but report back via a portal on every task , as long as your doing the job your be left alone , concidering the time it took my manager to visit me (distance from his home to store ) I think I was seen on a regular bases and given support and advice and my well-being was always talked about , Andrew always went out of his way to help and wasn’t afraid to role his selves up and help , I respected him greatley as I know most of his team did , he covered as vast area and I feel it was a challenge as the business expect a lot from us all. I did struggle with what was called add hoc work , this Work was offtern last minute and a lot of the time open to interpretation as some things we were asked to do were with department of product I have never worked with , again the manager understands this was not easy and would always support in the best way he was able but I felt the wider business was somewhat greedy to hit targets and didn’t much care how the money came in as long as it did , I left to re locate and Andrew offered to look at transferring me but I wanted a break from work , I had regular H&S training and always told no matter what don’t put your self of others in danger , I had safety equipment and if lost was able to get more , I had reviews ( too many ) but that was the rule , if you look to work for them just hope you have a good manager as I did as it can be very lonely if not.

Treat you like prisoner at times.....too many chefs and not enough cooks

Definitely avoid the agency work at this place they will sack you for 3 days on the sick even after 12 weeks probation ringing in and following all the agency workers rights on the other hand full time workers are treated like royalty.For those new starters if you ever make it that far believe me for all the professional athletes I’ve raced in motorsports the majority would have struggled.After you have completed a 12-week qualifying period in the same job with the same employer, you will be entitled to the same basic terms and conditions of employment as if you had been employed directly by the employer. These conditions should be written in a contract and cover things such as the hours you work, the amount of holiday you get, and how much money you're paid.If you are on a pay between assignments contract you will not be entitled to the same basic pay even if you have worked for 12 weeks in the same job with the same employer. However, you will be entitled to the same other terms and conditions that employees have in their contract.Terms and conditions that are written into a contract may be more generous than the minimum terms and conditions you're legally entitled to. For example, if the employees where you're working are entitled to 30 days holiday a year, you would also get 30 days once you've worked in the same job for 12 weeks, instead of the basic 28 days the law says you can have.The things that count as basic terms and conditions are:basic pay.
