We went for lunch. Quite a comprehensive menu for such a remote place and most of us went for 2 courses for £20. Good food and service. 2 drinkable ales.

Only went for Sunday lunch & it was absolutely amazing. Walked in without booking & they were busy but more than accommodating. Home made soup was root veg & chilli & it was delicious followed by roast lamb. Husband had belly pork & kids had chicken. Every plate was cleared. Dogs also welcome.

Amazing location, food and ambiance. Asked at very short notice if they had a table for two on a Saturday night . “No problem “they said and it didn’t disappoint . Mussels as a starter were plump and delicious , hake beautifully cooked with fresh samphire and more mussels. The dessert was to die for

Lovely meals - percy burger and steak, although on the pricier side. Steak came medium rather than med-rare but no quibbles, was still an excellent sirloin.Only slight against service was the dark haired waitress could have been a bit more pleasant in serving - smile love, it might not happen.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Percy Arms. The pub is located in the most picturesque little village. We brought along our Labrador with us and there’s lots of places to explore including a 20 minute drive to Bamburgh beach. The rooms were beautifully designed and comfortable. We spent both evenings relaxing in the bar area and the staff were so accommodating and made us feel at home. The food, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious and appreciated by both us and our pup! We would definitely recommend and stay again!

After hearing rave reviews about the Percy Arms, we booked weeks in advance of our holiday for a Sunday Lunch, I unfortunately can’t comment on the quality of food of the hospitality as I received a phone call an hour before our Sunday Lunch reservation to cancel, apparently ‘shortage of chefs’. Book with real caution if you want to have your plans turned upside down at the last minute as not at all reliable and give hardly any notice of changes.

On the night we visited the team were very short handed which led to service being a little delayed. However they made great efforts and stayed in good humour and provided overall satisfactory service. The food, unfortunately, was average, at best. Two of our party, myself included, had fish that was undercooked. A third had the meat and potato pie, which was too salty, and the other three meals were unremarkable.Had they been fully staffed then perhaps the fish at least may not have been undercooked. All in all a dissapointing experience to end what had been a great week's holiday in Northumberland. We weren't staying in the hotel, we had only booked for a meal.

Very comfortable, quiet room with nice little touches - fresh milk in the fridge, proper coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable. Great dinner and breakfast.

We went on a Thursday afternoon and struggled to get our third choice from the menu as so much was not available. The food was overpriced. £17 for pie and chips and the same for a salmon sandwich is a bit much even though it was very nice. The second choice child meal (the first choice was not available) was £10 although after we raised a concern was given free. The second choice kids meal of reformed chicken nuggets was poor given the price it should have been.Apart from that its a lovely pub in a lovely location. Dog Friendly and plenty of outside seating. However if you want us to travel 10 miles to get to you from either Wooler or Belford you need to review the catering.

Stayed here after proposing to my girlfriend. Absolutely lovely homely venue and staff went above and Beyond to make our stay memorable. 10/10. Sam and Susanne were especially attentive.
