Carpetright

I ordered flooring from this company, and the name on the package does not match what we had ordered; the color is slightly different as well. Initially, they promised to send the correct flooring, only to inform me almost a month later that the color discrepancy was acceptable and no replacement would be provided. All they would do is say sorry.Not to mention that every time they said they would contact me, I never received a phone call from them, and they never replied to my email. Every time I contacted them, they said my case was being handled by the manager, and the manager was ALWAYS away, so they could do nothing about it. They left me without updates and stranded me in a state of uncertainty.I am now forced to delay the services of my fitter and consequently postpone my move-in day. The lack of professionalism and accountability demonstrated by this company is not only disappointing but also highly disruptive to my plans. They taught me a great lesson. Thank you.

Great carpet fitter, let down by poor Store management and surveyor! Have made a complaint via customer service Corporate reply" in return for more training will be provided! The complaint was not answered just acknowledge.To quote the store response to any query "that's that" !"

Carpet fitters that this company uses are very unprofessional. Took a chunk out of skirting board, no apologies, left the carpet trims, after we paid extra for a care package, didn't even hover also, after paying £39 for this service.The manager was absolutely unprofessional looking down his nose to his customers. Was not sympathetic at all.The only decent thing about our ordeal with this company was our first ever booking in with Amanda which was professional & polite.

Amanda sorted us out quick and efficient. A good price and a happy smile as well. Highly recommended.

Visited on Sun 19th Nov to buy hall, stairs & landing carpets. We were the only customers in the shop but were completely ignored by the salesman and woman working when we needed help choosing. The woman couldn't tear herself away from her phonecall with her friend chatting about the boots and skirt she'd just bought. Left the store, went over the road to Tapi Carpets and spent £1,000 with the extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable Alan.

Bad experience with their partner carpet fitters. Shoddy job done. Air bubbles under the hallway vinyl, despite the floor being prepared and levelled by the fitters. Kitchen vinyl lifts when we hoover(!). Would recommend their nearest big chain competitors across the road--the difference in our experience with them was like night and day. We were surprised by how long they took doing our bathrooms, but now realise that maybe this is the time it takes to do it properly, and that the Carpetright fitters were rushing the job.

Have been served by lovely Margaret in the Newport rd store, who has been very helpful with choosing the right carpet for our nursery. We found the experience so smooth and easy we've come back to order carpets for the main bedroom as well, been lucky to have been served by Margaret again! Definitely recommend;)

Absolutely superb service !Was served by Amanda and I must say I am very happy. Amanda was very professional and helped me with all my queries. She walked me through all the options and was not pushy at all.She helped me decide on a carpet that I now love and can’t wait for it to be fitted.10/10 service. I needed a non standard size piece of vinyl floor and had been to many other retailers, with no joy. Then I arrived at Carpetright, they were fantastic, especially Amanda, who made the purchase simple and painless. This feels like a family run business and I highly recommend you go there first, in your hunt for new flooring.I'll be back as soon as our next office is ready for flooringThank you
