I was really struggling with Blue once he hit seven months and started fighting (not playing) with his half brother, resource guarding food and me, and reacting to pretty much everything - cars, people, dogs etc. As a family we didn't see how we could manage both dogs and my daughter suggested residential training. A quick search and I found the fabulous Emma at Bark Club and booked Blue in for residential training in February, fast forward four weeks and it was like I had a new dog. Blue now walks to heel and is significantly less reactive but can be taken by surprise so regular tips from Emma helps me course correct. Emma also sorted Blue's toilet training that had regressed with some great advice and tips to try that worked. Emma remains available via WhatsApp to answer questions or concerns and offer reassurance. Blue has not had a fight with Albie since returning and now they have reverted to play fighting. He is also so much better with resource guarding and I can now play with them both together, train tricks together, feed treats together and enjoy both dogs again. I have just returned from a dog walk with other clients of Emma and Blue smashed it, I was so proud and will remain forever grateful to Emma for making sure we can keep our little Blue bear with his big brother Albie bear. Had to include a photo of Albie too so he doesn't feel left out. Can't recommend Emma highly enough but you won't be disappointed!

I can’t thank Emma enough for the good work she did with my boy Brodie. He was chasing cars basically anything that moved so much so that I dreaded taking him out for a walk . He stayed with her for 4 weeks and in that time she had totally transformed his behaviour towards cars. He also has been so much calmer and walks are now a lot more easier and enjoyable . I highly recommend her residential training .

Emma is incredibly talented , her kindness and empathy for what we saw as a difficult dog was astounding. Her assessment and management of our dogs issues was thoughtful and successful! Highly recommended

Emma, in one session gave me back the pleasure of going on a walk. My young large breed dog was strong and reactive - Emma showed me how to stop/manage this behaviour and give me back my confidence. She was supportive, encouraging and generous with her time and advice. She really knows her stuff. We had another session a few weeks later to work on recall, the techniques are starting to work and I couldn't be happier

We cannot thank or recommend Emma enough for the work she has done with our near two year old Doberman. We sent our dog for four week residential training as we were struggling with him on the lead and general obedience. We could never enjoy a walk as he would pull so much and although he knew basic commands he would often not follow them and do his own thing. From the handover we had when we picked him up to him now being back at home, we can see how hard Emma has worked with him and are looking forward to continuing the training she has implemented in him. He is like a different dog! Emma has such a lovely nature and we knew our milo had been in good hands. He became a part of Emma’s family and everyday life whilst he was with her which was an important part for us as we didn’t want him locked up and only out for training, as most residential’s only offer this type of routine. Forever grateful ateful for you Emma!

Emma came to our house, spent time with me and our 14 month old (Beagle x Cocker). We're working on sleeping through the night, reactive barking whilst walking and digging up the garden.Emma gave me the confidence i need, tools that work for me, she explained how our dogs mind works and what she needs, In a way that I could understand. I have to say, 24 hours in and we've seen a massive improvement already. Life changer!! thank you Emma

Our lives would not be the same if we hadn't got our dogs to Emma, and I wish we had done sooner. We had previously worked with trainers who 'couldn't help us' with our issues. Emma did more in one session than we or they had managed to in months. We've continued training with Emma and our own practise and now have two dogs that are a pleasure to live with, but most importantly, the dogs are now safe and happy. Thank you Emma!

Emma assessed oor rescue retriever before we had him as he had a difficult background.Emma was exactky right in all the advice she gave us concerning him. He's a growler but doesn't follow it up, can be bossy etc.She helped us use a crate for his advantage and ours and her back up has been superb and prompt.Recently he has become reactive to other dogs.Such is our confidence in Emma's abilities that we travelled 5 hours to have him stay with Emma for three daysJust picked him up. New, correct walking strategy put in place by Emma and we have just walked around a park with Emma coaching us and no reaction at all.Emma is compassionate and kind but firm and incredibly knowledgeable.Cannot reccomend this lady enoughThank you Emma from us both and our boy xx

I was sceptical about sending our new dog away for 4 weeks for some training, but glad we did and chose Bark Club. Emma is a natural and treats the dogs in her care as her own. The dogs stay with her and her family, so they are in training full time - unlike some where they are caged majority of the time and only allocated certain training time. Follow ups are done, and it's good to be able to join Emma and other dog owners for walks. As well as visiting our home for training with our cat. We have a very reactive, excitable Spaniel who is quite unpredictable. Emma has definitely set him on the right path. He's not there yet but he is getting there with time and patience. Emma always checking in and giving tips. Highly recommended if you need help with any aspect of training your furry friend!

My GSD is 1 year old and is very reactive to other dogs when walking on the lead. He had 1 month residential training with Emma to learn to walk on the lead without posing a big hazard to me (I am a very small lady). Hektor can walk perfectly next to me and I can control him very well if he gets a bit reactive to other dogs.Apart from the excellent training, my young GSD came home very happy, and he his usual self. I was very concerned about my dog missing me but he was clearly very comfortable with Emma and her family company
