Walkies With Una

Our 2 year old crazy chocolate Labrador Reggie was a handful to say the least. We asked Una to help us “tame the beast” 3 weeks ago and he is like a different dog! We really enjoy our homework and the whole family get involved. Amazingly, it’s a pleasure to teach him now! Una gives us tips and tricks to get him to finally listen and it’s working. Best of all, Reggie adores her and so do we. We’re looking forward to our next one already! Thank you Una!

I have been using Walkies with Una for nearly 2 years now and I honestly cannot fault them. My previous dog walker said that she could not handle them anymore and several dog walking companies I interviewed were clearly not suitable. When I met Una I could tell straight away she was confident and very professional and clearly knew how to manage my boys. Una is also always on hand to provide tips and help when needed. I have 2 bull terriers who can be a handful. They are stubborn, lazy, mischievous, comical, loving and very strong. They also like to try and eat everything in their path. Any issues that come up are discussed with me and advice given on what I can do to help. I receive a report every day on how they walked and whether they have toileted. Tracey their main walker (4 days per week) has worked wonders with them, she has even managed to get them to walk in the rain. Ali who walks them 1 day per week has also said how much they have improved and are easier to walk. The boys definitely are enjoying spending time with them and it is so nice to see the bond they have built. It is obvious the boys trust and love them, my boys look like they are smiling when they come home. Admittedly they can still play up and refuse to walk but if this happens they come in and sit with the boys. I also like the fact that the time they spend with them differs. They sometimes take them over to the flats (grassed area) to play and other times they do street walking. I just thank God I found them when I did. The training sessions they offer are also excellent. They explain things in simple terms so it is easy to understand. Excellent service and never let down.

The best thing I ever did after adopting my rescue dog was to contact Una and arrange regular walks and training sessions.Una and her team are all amazing, so skilled and knowledgeable and my doggie loved them all! They are always helpful and flexible and I trust the team completely as I know they put the interests of our dogs and us at the heart of everything they do. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Una literally is the mutts nuts. A wonderful trainer who cares about dogs more than anyone I know. The dogs always come first with Una and her team. She is so patient and is a wonder to watch. I have done a lot of research on walkers in my area and was extremely happy when a slot became available at Walkies with Una. It really matters who you trust your dog with, and we had great communication from Una and amazingly reliable walking service with Ali. She is great with our rescue staffy and my mind can be at ease with him being with her. Great little business with an amazing team and community.

Una's been a great help with training our cocker spaniel. She helped us understand some of her behaviour. Our dog also loves her walks with Tracey and I feel really comfortable knowing that none of the bad habits we've been working to improve are being reinforced. Everything 's dog first, rather than business or profit first.

Super reliable dog walker who really cares about your dog and only walks in small groups so you know they're safe and taken care of. Also a trainer with a lot of knowledge who can help you with any situation you're unsure of, and has really helped us understand our rescues. Would 100% recommend.

Cannot recommend Una and Tracey enough. The dogs are in utterly safe and trustworthy hands, and the training and scent work on offer is also fantastic. Love em and wouldn't go anywhere else!
