Pets at Home Middlesbrough

My dog loved this place. Took him for a nail trim,the girls were brilliant and patient with him,he enjoyed choosing his treat too x

Pets at home, good place for pet food etc mainly for our small to large furry friends, not so much on the aquatic side but passible. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I went to buy fish and because they were acclimating a few of the fish in other tanks I was refused sale of any of them so pets at home lost out on sales that day as I went elsewhere.

I went to have a look around as I was going for an interview here staff were very helpful and very busy shop was very untidy and shelves were very empty my suggestion is they need more staff employed to fill shelves and tidy around while other staff are busy serving

I always get great service at this store, but today was exceptional. It's my cat's birthday, so Pets at Home sent a voucher for free treats. I went into store to pick them up, only to discover that my app had updated and I needed to log back in.I tried, but managed to lock my account instead. So far so bad. I approached Faye at the counter, who spent a full 45 minutes battling with the technology, the helpdesk and all those unwritten tech rules that you don't know exist until something goes unexpectedly wrong.All this was done calmly and in a helpful, friendly manner despite it being ten minutes before closing on a Sunday afternoon.Amazing. Well done Faye!

I came yesterday to buy food for my dog and the lady name Keylegh was absolutely amazing, she literally spend an hour with me to sort out and download the app so I could get 10% off. Fantastic customer service and amazing personality. She deserves pey rise.

Really are not happy got my dog her first ever Christmas treat and as i have got home I noticed it was open when I’ve looked ones missing and another 2 are broken really don’t recommend to anyone that is buying for one of there pets or check before leaving the store

1st couple of times spot on nice cut, but last time they didn't follow the instructions left and poor Robyn's hair wasn't straight on the top. Took her back the following day to have it sorted. Met with rudeness as if I didn't have a right to mention it. Then I've called to say Robyn's came in season yesterday are we OK for her appointment...no they cancelled it. Fair enough but we have to wait 5 weeks for the next appointment and also lost our deposit. Customer service and skill level have very much declined. It's not as if they are reasonably priced either it's quite expensive... very disappointing

After spending the last 5 years telling my husband and 3 children (2 of which are adults) that I am definitely NOT getting another dog (my little rescue puppy Barney grew up, grew old then grew his angel wings) I somehow suddenly found myself a good few hundred pounds poorer but infinitely happier with my handsome boy Jasper.Collected our boy with nothing but a heart full of love, so a quick shop for essentials at pets at home, a bed, food, toys and a harness.The young girl that served us was amazing, she told us all about the app and talked us through downloading and signing up, bonus we saved 20% off our first shop, she seemed genuinely interested in hearing all about our new baby, now I'm a mother to 3 human girls and I know how boring it is to listen to that poop, but she made me feel like she cared and made me feel like I can't wait to go back with my handsome boy and introduce them.I would definitely recommend this place and will be taking my boy there when he's fully vaccinated.

Staff friendly dog as well get some good deals time to time I deal with the vet n grooms up stairs there

Took Apollo for his second groom today and as usual the girls from the groom room were great. They looked after Apollo made sure he was comfortable. He loves going for a groom. He definitely looks so cute in his bandana! Also the staff from Pets at home we’re amazing with Apollo because he’s a little nervous at times so can have a wee in the store. I love taking my dog here!!
