A small yet delightful church with decorated walls and ceilings. My daughter loved the stars on the ceiling. Little haven of peace and quiet.

We parked by the church to go for a day walk and popped in just to get out of the rain. What a find! An oasis of peace and a really interesting set of wall paintings. Whilst pastiche of older medieval walls, nonetheless these Victorian additions are splendid and well worth a visit.

Church of St George, Hampnett
Hampnett is small, very small, a few houses and the church, nothing else. Very picturesque, built on a side of a valley.The church is very old, Norman I believe. Although very small, it is surprisingly big for such a small settlement, in fact it is surprising that such a small settlement had a church at all. No parking as such, but parking on the (mostly single track road) that runs through Hampnett.
