Fine Doors

I have used this company on 2 occasions now. Last time was about 3 years ago and then again this month.On both occasions I found Nadeem to be extremely polite and helpful.He even advised me that one of the doors that I had ordered didn’t “match” the others ,this was a conscious decision that we made, but nevertheless it was nice to see that the ordered had been properly reviewed and not just despatched when it could have been incorrect.We were able to get a very suitable delivery date/time for us as well, meaning we didn’t have to take a day off of work and wait around all day.The door I ordered were also cheaper here than anywhere else on the internet.I would highly recommend.

I found this company to be excellent. We bought a pre hung, hardwood, partially glazed, stable door. They were extremely helpful from the start. After I placed the order I decided I wanted parliament hinges instead of the standard ones and Nadeem went to a great deal of trouble to find out what hinges would be best for our needs and to arrange for them be installed. The handles arrived from the manufacturer broken so he arranged for a new pair to be sent directly to us so as not to hold up the delivery of the door, which was due a couple of days later. They arrived the same day as the door. When the door arrived the driver was very polite and the door is absolutely fabulous. It’s extremely well made with beautiful joinery. We’re very pleased with the door and the customer service we received.

We ordered around 20 made to measure doors. One had incorrect measurements, not Fine Doors fault but rather the manufacturer. Fine Doors, Nadeem in particular, was great in having this resolved quickly. Overall, great service, prompt delivery, good value. Recommended

Very good value and excellent customer service. I brought an external oak door, once fitted I received many compliments from guests and neighbours. The door was very good value for money. I was also given advise by Fine Doors on how to maintain the door. 2 months later I returned items that I did not use and was given full refund. I would recommend Fine Doors to my friends and family.

We bought 4 internal doors from Fine Doors. We experienced a friendly service, and the quality of the doors is really excellent. We initially ordered unfinished doors by mistake, but Nadeem helped us to amend our order and assisted us in choosing something more suitable. The finishing looks lovely and we are really pleased with the end result! The cost was pretty good too - the doors and the fitting were quite reasonable considering the high quality. We would certainly purchase doors from here again in the future should we ever need to!

Bought the Oak Cottage Door (6 lights) and frame together with weather seals, letter box, locks & hinges fitted. It was quite expensive but an absolutely fair price for the quality door that I received.My carpenter took about an hour to get the old frame out another hour to fit the new frame and door. Looks fantastic and the guys at Fine Doors are very helpful, answering all my questions fully.I admit to being a bit nervous about spending so much on an internet purchase but can confirm that everything went well and you can trust Fine Doors of Buckhurst Hill.If you want a door, I happily recommend Fine Doors.The later photo shows the front door area now finished with new oak surround, lights and wall covering sheet.

They were helpful and efficient prior to purchase supplying detailed information which I needed to make a decision. The product was delivered as advised. Post sale they have been very helpful with promptly addressing issues which were not of their making. The doors themselves look great and are better than we had anticipated. So all in all, a very good experience.

Purchased double Empress oak doors and frame from FineDoors and painted them Ebony on the outside and Light Oak on the inside with Sikkens wood finish and after a quality artisan job of the installation by my joiner they look stunning- we are delighted with the result- good value as well. Finedoors have photos of the finished doors as installed.

Ordered a internal opaque door, when it arrived the builders fitted it, but I didn’t realise that opaque meant that one side was shiny and the other was sand blasted. This should be explained better on the website. When the door was fitted there was multiple areas of overspray. They sent someone out who said it could easily be removed but made more of a mess of it than when it was first fitted. I have asked for a refund as this is of such poor quality manufactured in the Far East, very poor quality control by the manufacturer and the supplier.I wanted to shop local but I certainly won’t be using this company again and would not recommend them.

We bought an external Rock Door. Service was amazing and they ensured that I was kept informed of the order status at all times. Excellent value for money too. I would definitely recommend Fine Doors to anyone.Thanks Nadeem you made the whole experience very pleasant indeed.
