Premier Inn Newquay (A30/Fraddon) hotel

A lovely hotel for a great break.When checking in I was welcomed by a lovely lady, she couldn’t have done enough for me. Always willing to go that extra mile. I’ll never forget the smile that greeted me.The site and my room were perfect, very well kept and clean, couldn’t fault anything about that place.Would love to go back again.

We stayed for a couple of nights and the rapport between the team members is brilliant.Very helpful and attentive welcoming service nothing like Marsh Mills at Plymouth.Well done reception and restaurant teams!

Hadn't realised how close to busy road, and hadn't asked for quiet room. Although weather not hot ie 19c the rooms were 24c+. Traffic noise loud! Managed to open window for few hours middle night to cool down. No aircon. Otherwise room & bed ok. Booked mealdeal in Cookhouse next door. Breakfasts fine. Main meals Mmmmm, first night chose curry, bowl of thin liquid with few pieces chicken, poppadom deep fried dripping fat. 2/10. Second evening pie & mash ok. Got a proper telling off from waitress because she didnt know we were mealdeal, and she had to cancel transaction & start again. Sorry!!! But we told the guy as we checked in and was allocated a table. Wouldn't return to either in a hurry. May be rooms cosy in winter? Room floors creaked, ours and room above, heard every movement.

In a good location, it does not take long to drive to a town. The staff were friendly and on hand for any problems. We booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for myself. My parents room had very squeeky floors, and some finishing touches needed to be done in their bathroom. My room, on the other hand, had many little faults such as ripped carpet, plug not attached the bath, very scratched light switchs which I could deal with. The one thing I could not deal with was that the bedding was dirty and had a rip. I went down to reception, and the guy was lovely and apoplectic. He came up to the room and put clean bedding on as housekeeping had finished for the day. I was very pleased at how quickly it was rectified and it wasn't too much trouble. (Think the guys name was Craig) I also got a puncure on the way and he recommended a garage which had a good reputation which didn't cost too much which I was also grateful for. Overall, we had a lovely weekend and would return back despite the little issues.If it wasnt for the bedding and ripped carpet I would have gave four ☆☆☆☆

Really disappointed. Curtains with holes in and hanging off the rail, dusty shelving, and very very creaking floors not only in our room but the one above. So obviously if the person above is an early riser that's the end of your nights sleep. We've used this place for years but I'm afraid it is now very sad.

We stayed here recently whilst visiting friends in Fraddon. The location was perfect for us driving, with easy access to a variety of nearby services. The rooms were lovely as Premier Inns usually are, and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We will be back again!

Had a very warm welcome with great customer service. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy.Check in was quick and easy with no issues.Would definitely stay here again.

Arrived and receptionist couldn't find our booking as she had booked in someone else under our name previously!!!!! Ages sorting out not what you need after very long journey! Also someone complaining about smell in room and asking to be moved! Tried to book meal deal and told restaurant booked so couldnt book it! When we checked with restaurant ourselves they managed to fit us in so all good. The hotel is a little tired, although clean and no air conditioning. Staying on the hottest night of year it wasnt good. Windows only open a fraction so no airflow at all. There is a musty smell in the whole hotel. When we came out in morning to fresh air it was wonderful.

The floorboards are so bad upstairs and downstairs you'd find it hard to walk anywhere without drawing attention. The site is not a good one on arrival the staff are having to put up with so many compliments I felt sorry for them. It's such a shame as I normally like Premier Inns.
