My husband who is disabled and myself also disabled had to take my mom also disabled to A&E as her gp said she was at high risk of a heart attack. There were no disabled spaces so we parked on the drop off space but displayed our blue badge. We got a penalty notice. We were told by the nurse that we would be okay to park there. It’s disgraceful. My poor mom was extremely unwell and on top of that stress we got a parking penalty notice. We to the office and there was no one there. Not very happy at all.

This car park and all other Hospital car parks belong to the people, and should be FREE of charge to all.You have all paid your Taxes and NO, that is funded by you and me. Not only is this a cash cow, ( and you will get a reply saying it's for the upkeep) utter crass. They exploit the sick and vulnerable of society, and nurse having to pay!!To top it it all they charge YOU 55p a minute from your mobile.Shame on you or whoever complimented charges for seeing your Loved ones

The charges for parking at a hospital should drastically reduced. Profiteering from the sick and their loved one's. Disgusting ethics.

No wonder these people have horrific reviews, the jobsworth staff sitting in the “command centre” operating the barriers make the disabled jump through hoops to get out, you accidentally forget to get your ticket validated then your belittled and made to struggle back to the command booth to get your ticket validated because now your at the barrier with 5 cars behind you so you can’t back up to drive back around and the dictator won’t let you out because you accidentally forgot to show your disability card to the commander!!!

Great to have some parking close to the main entrance of the hospital. Plenty of disabled bays too where blue badge holders get 'free' parking.... until you leave after 8pm and no one is in the office to let you through so you end up paying nearly £20 anyway? The car park is easy to access and has plenty of spaces over the various floors. Much better than going across to the big multi story. The car park is clean and well lit.The 3rd floor via the lift is actually the floor you need that is ground level of the hospital.Convenient for parking but definitely not cheap and being on private land, the hospital/nhs dont see a penny of it.

Well signed and decently priced. Within good proximity to the main hospital building. Easy to navigate to but there it is often quite busy and the parking spaces are quite tight and a challenge to navigate. Can’t say there is anything wrong with the car parks condition and the stairs and floors are very well signed.

My blind and disabled wife had an appointment today at 12:00. We anticipated there would be traffic, so we left home 30 minutes earlier. We arrived at the QE car park at 11:20 and spent over 40 minutes trying to find a space and subsequently missed the appointment. I could not leave her at the drop off point, she is wheelchair bound so I needed to park up and wheel her into the hospitalIt is absolutely appalling the amount of cars parked in disabled bays with no blue badges displayed, clearly checks are not being done to control this. Horns were blaring, people were arguing, tempers were high, it should not be like this when attending a hospital appointment. The statistics for late or missed appointments to this hospital must be shocking!!

Absolute joke. Arrived in the queue at 07:20 and didn't get parked until 09:00, when work started at 08:30. Stuck at barrier for half an hour. What's the point of paying for a permit when I'm late to the job that pays it?! I could have walked to work faster. Wouldn't recommend anyone to use it.

Mostly good but not the cheapest option. Beware of lunatic drivers and bad pavement parking too.

Car park D opposite the cancer unit. I feel there should be more disabled parking than there is on the bottom level. As it is opposite the cancer unit. I have been here a number of times lately and so many people park in the disabled bays without a blue badge and nothing seems to be done about it. And there is a sign saying no contracters to use this car park too. But they don't care too. Again, no one seems to monitor this. Very poor service.
