We chose Jim by looking at his excellent Google reviews. We wanted a new radiator installing, and after we rang him, he came round later the same day to quote. He has a no-nonsense approach and puts the customer first, giving the best value option rather than that which would make him the most money.Jim kept us informed of the best size of new radiator via text message and was punctual, tidy and helpful when he came to install it. He even bled all our radiators and advised us that the pressure in our boiler was too high. We were so impressed that we asked him to do another small job for us in our downstairs toilet. Again, he was very helpful, advising us of the best and most cost effective options and explaining what he was doing and why.We cannot recommend him more highly and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

I called Jim for a quote on some pipes which needed repairing/replacing. He came as agreed, but instead of a quote he told me I could probably fix it myself for next to nothing - he told me what I'd need, how to do it and even drew me a diagram, all of which worked perfectly. Definitely recommend this man.

Jim replaced our taps which had been leaking. He promptly answered our call and came round the same day to fix the problem and install new taps. Very impressed with the quality of work and speed of service. Thank you!

Excellent service - gave advice on exactly what was needed and where to buy at best price (I was going to buy on one website and he found the same item for £20 less on another website without being asked). I had originally approached Jim at Kings Heath Plumbing do perform some basic plumbing and grouting at my home in Moseley on the en-suite bathrooms. Personally and professionally (as a Mechanical Engineer) I contract out ALOT of work to people from all over the place and I've met ALOT of different abilities and personalities on the way.Jim was so informed, effective, well-priced, professional and courteous that I immediately contracted to him further plumbing in the house. He again was so excellent at the job (and got on perfectly well with my mum who spends most time at the house) that I even contracted out work to him that was not plumbing related... as a sort of handyman.Jim clearly has a very credible, level-headed, rational approach to problem-solving to the extent that he correctly hypothesised that the leak into the cellar from ground-water (which we couldn't solve for the longest time) was coming from a gutter down-pipe on the outside of the building. We had previously had floods of water coming into the cellar previously and we had blamed faulty wall-tanking but lo and behold once we diverted the drain... the entire problem went away! A huge relief to myself and my mum (who had to bucket away the cellar water).Pretty much anything that comes up in the house I now contract to Jim and I plan to contract him to project manage a new kitchen we are putting in. It's a double-edged sword to praise one's contractor in public (as he'll be busy elsewhere!) but I have to give credit where it's due :)Jamal (Moseley)

A polite father and son duo, Kings Heath Plumbing were able to exchange a rusty old tap for a new one within a very dismantled, rotted worktop that needed to be changed. A lot of care and strength was necessary for this job.Thank you gentlemen.

Gave me a quote for fixing my toilet which which was a hell of a lot cheaper than about 3 other plumbers I had gotten quotes from - worried that he might 'up' the quote later or do a shoddy job, luckily I was pleasantly surprised! He took about 45 minutes longer than he said he might due to there being a little complication but kept to the price he quoted me at and did an excellent job - very pleased! He was lovely, sincere, polite and did a great job, will be recommending him to everyone - need more plumbers like this!

We found Jim when searching for a plumber to fix our contractor's plumber's mistake. Jim listened carefully when we explained the problem with the shower and the toilet and outlined what he thought were the potential issues. He then stated that he thought it might take up to half a day to fix, depending on what was actually the problem. We thought this was fair and arranged for him to return to do the work. Jim is professional, calm and clean in his work. He took the time to explain what he was fixing and why when asked and set about fixing the bathroom. He finished ahead of time and only charged us for the time he had spent. We were very impressed with his ethos and ability; he knows what he is doing. I have no hesitation in recommending Jim to friends and family alike.
